대략적인 내용은 아동이 학업적 성취를 위해서 부모가 어떻게 육아를 해야 하는 지에 대한 것이구요.
과제의 본질 자체가 잡지에 기재할 것을 가정하였으나, 학문적 기초에 바탕을 둬야 했기 때문에
academic한 글과 informal한 글 중간 쯤이라고 보면 될 것 같습니다.

본문내용

According to Kelly et al. (2000), many primary developmental systems develop in the first two years of a child’s life. Among the systems is the child’s self-system. The self-system involves the activities in which children choose to participate, how they react to challenge and failure in completing those activities, the standards of behavior, the self-evaluations, and the emotions resulting from the self-evaluations. The manifestations of this self-system are “children’s recognition of external standards for their behavior and the accompanying self-evaluative emotions” and mastery motivation (Kelly, Brownell, & Campbell, 2000, p. 1061). In case of young toddlers, mastery motivation is observed through interest and persistence that children show in challenging activities. Since the self-system starts to develop in the first two years of a child’s life, parents’ roles during this period are very crucial to help equip their children with the sound self-system and mastery motivation.
