본문내용

The ultimate reason of corporal punishment is a conflict between instructor and student. When there are some students who disobedient to the instructor for several reasons, instructor feels need of punishment for his/her authority and other pure students. This process is the reason why corporal punishment is occurs. And we can arrange the reasons that why these corporal punishment is not eradicated easily. First, Most of instructors have difficulties to making the study mood for concentrating. Actually there are a lot of instructors who don’t have any repertoires in school. This case of instructor can express their anger as corporal punishment. Second, the cultural background of our society is also one of the reasons of corporal punishment. Our society is affected by groupism, and atmosphere of violence. So many people think that individual can somewhat sacrifice for whole school. Third, it is the problem that there is no clear guideline for corporal punishment. Because it is so too abstract and too rough that it can cause infinite variables. Lastly, the fact that the positive effects of corporal punishment are immediate and visible whereas negative effects are intangible and gradual can be a reason.
