1. As an international manager, please specify all the political risks as well as other risks in the Russian environment.

As mentioned in the case, the political situation was very unstable in July 1991. At that time, the situation included the possibility that the Soviet Union might not exist in the near future. There was some strange buzz word like "razgosudarstvo" which means the breakup of the Soviet state. Furthermore, Russia has long history of the Communist(or Socialist, whatever) which is well known as Marxism. Nowadays, that ideology is regarded as extremely minor-someone said that it is the wheel of evil! So that there is somewhat tendency of unseen prejudice on the Russia, and it isolates that region. To tell the truth, Russia`s image is represented as KKK of skinheads even recently.
Religion of Marxism was not only affected the political issues but also destroyed the economic environment. Some major economists says that there are no incentives in the communist society, but remain strict laws for distributive equity only. As we all know, Every economics textbook says that big
