There are largely two types of people depending on what kind of products they want to buy: those who prefer items made by machine due to their inexpensive prices and those who place the quality of products before prices, thus choosing handmade items. Although it is true that people can easily buy items made by machine whenever they want, I strongly believe that handmade products can fulfill people`s needs as fully as possible. Below are two reasons to support my opinion.

First, the quality of handmade products is higher than that of products made by machines. Artisans may put a great deal of effort into making their products and check with deliberation whether they are defective or not. This is because they know that not all people can afford to buy expensive handmade products. Therefore, they try to attract as many customers as possible by enhancing the quality of their products. Thus, handmade products can show the delicate touch of craftsmanship, drawing many people to buy them. Personally, I prefer handmade shoes than those made by machine because comfort is the most important thing for me when it comes to shoes. In the past, I used to wear shoes made by machine because they were cheap. However, I twisted my ankle twice when I went out wearing these shoes. Only after I realized that it was not my fault but the bad quality of shoes that made me feel uncomfortable did I decide to wear handmade shoes.
