유사 가족으로서의 청소년팸 재현 연구: 영화 <꿈의 제인>을 중심으로 (A Study on the Pseudo-Family of Youth Fam : Focusing on Film Jane)

초록

한국 영화에서 ‘가부장 가족, 모성 가족, 가족의 해체, 유사 가족’이라는 순서로 이어지는 연구의 흐름은 가족 형태의 변화를 보여주는 현실을 반영한다. 이러한 선행연구는 주로 가족의 부재, 여성의 독립성, 피의 순수성 부정과 관련하여 유사 가족의 의미를 논의한다. 본고는 청소년팸을 중심으로 한 유사 가족에 대한 연구를 위해서 한국 영화 <꿈의 제인>(조훈현 2016)을 연구 대상으로 삼고자 한다. 그래서 <꿈의 제인>에서 나타나는 세 가지 형태의 팸, 즉 제인팸, 병욱팸, 지수팸에서 드러나는 청소년팸의 유사 가족으로서의 의미를 고찰한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 제인팸의 환상은 비혈연 가족의 달콤한 환상에서 비극적 현실로의 변화를 보여준다. 제인팸은 제인에 대한 동경과 피의 순수성을 보여주며, 제인과 소현의 관계는 초탈한 삶과 집착하는 삶을 대비시키고, 제인과 팸의 관계는 공생의 삶과 돌봄의 부재를 대비시킨다. 둘째, 병욱팸의 현실은 가부장 가족의 위계질서에서 사회각축장으로의 변화를 보여준다. 병욱팸은 억압적 위계질서와 가족의 부재를 드러내며, 병욱과 소현의 관계는 가부장적 억압과 복종을 통해 위계질서를 나타내며, 병욱과 지수의 관계는 가부장적 폭력과 저항의 대립을 보여준다. 셋째, 지수팸의 상상은 모성 가족의 비표준적 친밀성에서 고립적 현실로의 변화를 보여준다. 지수팸은 유대감/고립감의 대비와 여성의 독립성을 드러내고, 지수와 소현의 관계는 혈연 가족과 비혈연 팸을 대비시키고, 소현과 은수(지수)의 관계는 애도의 부재와 팸의 재구성/추방을 보여준다.
제인팸의 비혈연 가족은 초탈한 삶, 공생의 삶을 통해 유사 가족의 이상을 꿈꾸고, 병욱팸의 가부장 가족은 가부장적 억압과 폭력을 통해 유사 가족의 현실을 보여주고, 지수팸의 모성 가족은 여성의 독립성과 팸의 재구성을 통해 유사 가족의 대안을 제시한다. <꿈의 제인>에서 청소년팸은 가부장 가족, 모성 가족, 가족의 해체, 유사 가족 등 가족의 급격한 변화를 압축적으로 보여주며, 부모의 역할을 수행하는 인물의 죽음을 통해 가족의 해체와 위기를 형상화하며, 현실과 환상의 대비로 혈연 가족의 해체와 유사 가족 재구성의 어려움을 그려낸다.

영어초록

In Korean movies, the trend of research in the order of patriarchal family, maternal family, family dissolution and pseudo-family reflects the reality of family shape change. These previous studies focused on pseudo-family implications, namely the absence of a family, the independence of women and the denial of blood purity. In order to study pseudo-family centered on youth fam, this paper focuses on the Korean movie Jane(Cho Hoon-hyun 2016). Therefore, the results of examining the meaning of pseudo-family of youth fam embodied in the three types of fams, namely, the Jane fam, the Byeongwook fam, and the Jisoo fam, are as follows.
First, fantasy of Jane fam shows the transition from sweet fantasy to bitter reality in a non-blooded family. Jane fam embodies a vision of Jane and a purity of blood, the relationship between Jane and Sohyun contrasts a detached life with a persistent life, and the relationship between Jane and fam contrasts symbiotic life and lack of care. Second, the reality of Byeongwook fam shows the transition from hierarchical order to socially contested terrain in the patriarchal family. The Byeongwook fam revealed the oppressive hierarchical order and the lack of family, the relationship between Byeongwook and Sohyun shows a hierarchical order through paternal pressure and obedience, and the relationship between Byeongwook and Jisoo shows the confrontation between patriarchal violence and resistance. Third, imagination of Jisoo fam shows the transition from non-standard intimacy to alienation in the matriarchal family. The Jisoo fam embodies the contrast of bond/isolation and the independence of women, the relationship between Jisoo and Sohyun shows the difference between bloodline family and non-bloodline family, and the relationship between Eunsoo(Jisoo) and Sohyun embodies the absence of mourning and fam's reconstruction/deportation.
The non-blood family of the Jane fam dreams of pseudo-family ideal through transcendent and symbiotic life, the patriarchal family of the Byeongwook fam shows a pseudo-family reality through parental oppression and violence, and the maternal family of Jisoo fam proposed pseudo-family countermeasures through female independence and family reorganization. In Jane, the youth fam compressedly shows rapid changes in the family such as patriarchal family, maternal family, family dissolution, and pseudo-family, and depicts family dissolution and crisis through the death of person performing parental duties, and portray the dissolution of blood-related families and the difficulty in reorganizing pseudo-family as the contrast between reality and fantasy.
