한국어 교수⋅학습을 위한 이유 표현 연구 -‘-는 바람에’와 ‘-는 통에’ 비교- (A Study of Reason Expressions in Korean for Teaching and Learning)

초록

The aim of this study is to examine what should be presented to learners whenteaching reason expressions, and help to prepare appropriate educational plans for reasonexpressions especially on ‘-neun barame’, and ‘-neun tonge’.
‘-Neun barame’, and ‘-neun tonge’ were generally presented for Korean intermediate levelwhich have similar semantic functions, accordingly both the teachers and learners areburdened with huge pressure when teaching and learning. This study question emergedfrom this point.
Thus figure out the features of effective lecturing, investigate how reason expressions-‘-neun barame’, and ‘-neun tonge’- were presented in the Korean textbooks, grammaticaldictionary, and Korean dictionary. After examining each material and analysed howlearners used this expression, then categorized type of errors.
Reason expressions were regarded as essential items to deliver an information to thelistener in communication. Since much scholarly work has been done on this field.
Nevertheless, ‘-neun barame’, and ‘-neun tonge’ have not been sufficiently studied inwhich similarity and difference.
This study has attempted to establish the syntactic and pragmatic characteristics of ‘-neunbarame’, and ‘-neun tonge’ and suggested the difference and similarity on mood andmodality
