초록

Despite of global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions around the world, the damages from climatechange are inevitable. Given this, the focus on climate change adaptation continues to grow. The energy sector is exposedto a wide range of serious risks from climate change. Nevertheless, research on climate change adaptation in the energysector is very scarce in terms of quantity. Therefore, this study conducted a keyword network analysis of media reportsand R&D projects to provide a comparative analysis of current key themes and suggest future research directions.
Comparing the key themes of media reports and R&D projects, we found that media reports mainly focus on the statusof damage and post-disaster response. On the other hand, R&D projects focused on preventive approaches throughtechnical forecasting and risk assessment. This revealed a significant gap between public perception and technical/policy approach to climate change adaptation in the energy sectors.
