초록

본 연구는 학교 내에서 돌봄의 행위로서 컴페션을 경험하는 특성화 고등학교 학생들이 느끼는 감사와 긍정적 감정, 주관적 안녕감의 관계를 실증하는 연구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 특성과 고등학교 학생들이 경험하는 컴페션과 감사의 관계, 감사와 긍정적 감정의 관계를 검증하고자 한다. 둘째, 본 연구는 특성화고등학교 학생들이 형성한 긍정적 감정과 주관적 안녕감의 관계를 실증하고자 하고, 감사와 긍정적 감정의 이중매개효과를 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구는 특성화고등학교 재학생 314명을 대상으로 통계 분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 컴페션과 감사의 관계가 유의하게 검증되었고, 감사와 긍정적 감정의 관계 역시 유의한 것으로 실증되었다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 학생들이 느끼는 긍정적 감정과 주관적 안녕감의 관계는 긍정적으로 유의한 결과를 나타냈고 셋째, 감사와 긍정적 감정의 이중매개효과 역시 유의한 것으로 밝혀져 예측한 모든 가설이 지지되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 감사와 긍정적 감정의 이중매개효과를 통해 향후 컴페션에 관한 실증적 연구에 이론적으로 기여할 뿐만 아니라 학교 차원에서 공감적 조직문화와 감사의 조직문화 확산을 이룰 수 있다는 실무적 시사점이 있다.

영어초록

This study empirically examines the relationships among gratitude, positive emotions, and subjective well-being experienced by specialized high school students through compassion as a caring behavior within the school environment. The objectives of this study are as follows: first, to verify the relationship between compassion and gratitude, as well as between gratitude and positive emotions, experienced by specialized high school students. Second, the study aims to investigate the relationship between positive emotions and subjective well-being formed by these students and to identify the dual mediating effect of gratitude and positive emotions.
Statistical analyses were conducted using data collected from 314 specialized high school students. The findings of this study are as follows: first, the relationship between compassion and gratitude was found to be significant, and the relationship between gratitude and positive emotions was also empirically validated as significant. Second, the relationship between positive emotions and subjective well-being experienced by specialized high school students was positively significant. Third, the dual mediating effect of gratitude and positive emotions was confirmed to be significant, supporting all proposed hypotheses.
Consequently, this study not only provides theoretical contributions to future empirical research on compassion by highlighting the dual mediating effect of gratitude and positive emotions but also offers practical implications. Specifically, it suggests that schools can foster an compassionate organizational culture and promote a culture of gratitude, thereby enhancing students' well-being at the institutional level.5
