초록

This study examined the method of overcoming technical limitations for product manufacturing and selection of wood species that can make single-use products as wood materials.
This is because the production of high-quality single-use products requires material performance that can be plastically processed so that the elastic fracture of wood does not occur. In order to use the plastic processing technique, indirectly, we tried to evaluate several characteristics as a result of a study on the bending workability that maximized the characteristics of plastic processing.
The results obtained by analyzing plastic processing are summarized as follows. Softwood has the beauty of the annual ring structure, but the plastic working performance is lower than the hardwood, and the plastic working performance can be improved by applying heat with the moisture content below the fiber saturation point. High-density hardwoods of 0.64 g/cm3 such as elm (Ulmus davidiana) or more are excellent in plastic processing. On the other hand, every conifers and low-density hardwoods such as Pine (Pinus densiflora), Radiata pine (Pinus radiata), Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa), Cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), Poplar (Populus euramericana), Sequoia (Metasequoia glyptostroboides), Balsa (Ochroma spp.), Paulownia (Paulownia tomentosa) were evaluated to have low plastic workability.
