미술치료와 미술교육이 아동의 미술능력과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Art Therapy and Art Education on Art Abilityand Pro-social Behavior of Children)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 미술치료와 미술교육이 아동의 미술능력과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 사설교육기관에서 미술수업을 받고 있는 아동 18명으로, 총 80회기를 실시하였으며, 비교를 위해서 두 집단으로 나누어 미술치료 집단에는 치유적인 목표를 설정하고 과정을 치유적인 방법으로 적용하였고, 미술교육 집단에는 교육적인 목표를 설정하고 치유적 처치는 하지 않았다. 프로그램 실시 전, 후에 미술능력 측정 검사, 친사회적행동 검사를 실시하였으며, 프로그램 실시 중에 두 그룹 아동의 그림 및 태도 변화를 관찰하고, 부모 면담을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 17.0을, 두 집단에 차이를 알아보기 위해 t-test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 미술치료 프로그램은 미술교육 프로그램보다 아동의 미술능력을 더 많이 증가시켰다. 표현능력을 증가시키기 위한 지도를 자제하였음에도 표현능력 점수가 상승하였다는 것은 미술표현능력의 증가에도 치료프로그램이 효과적이었음을 시사한다. 심리적인 돌봄을 하였을 때 아동의 미술활동과정, 감상능력, 표현능력이 증가함으로 전체적인 미술능력이 증가하였다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 미술치료 프로그램은 미술교육 프로그램보다 아동의 친사회적 행동을 증가시켰다. 미술프로그램에서 자신에 대해 인식하고 수용하며 집단의 참여도를 높이고, 건전한 인간관계를 유지하도록 한 것이 아동의 친사회적 행동을 증가시켰다고 볼 수 있다.

영어초록

This thesis is to inquire into the effect of art therapy and art education on the art ability and the pro-social behavior of children. The subject is 18 children, who receive lectures on art in a private academy. For them, this program is carried out during 80 sessions. For the comparison of the effect, arranged as art therapy group, and art education group. And the two groups have the different objectives and course with same subject matter. The therapeutic objective and method are set up for the art therapy group, The educational objective is set up for the art education group, and this group has no therapeutic treatment. The art ability research tools used to measure and the measure the pro-social behavior are carried out before and after this program. During this program, the change in their pictures and attitudes is observed, and the interviews with parents are carried out. The data materials are analyzed by SPSS(ver.17.0 for Windows), by which t-test is carried out to find out the difference of the two groups. The results are, Firstly, the art therapy program improves the art ability of children more than the art education program. Though the researchers exercises restraint in the teachings for improving their expressional ability, their scale in the expressional ability is increased. It means that the art therapy program is also effective on the improvement of art expression ability. When the psychological cares are carried out for the children by adding the art therapeutic treatment, the art activity, appreciative ability, expressional ability of them is supposed to improve, and then the whole art ability is improved. Secondly, the art therapy program improves the pro-social behavior of children more than the art education program. It means that accept themselves, heighten the participation degree in the group, keep the more sound relationship with others is helpful for the improvement of the pro-social behavior.
