초록

In the era of the open market system, the most urgent tasks for Korean
agriculture to survive are to guarantee the best quality and safety of food.
One of the measures to cope with these tasks is the environmentfriendly-
agriculture implementation. However the weight of the environmentfriendly-
agriculture out of the total agriculture in Korea accounts for only
4~6%, which is the initial stage of the organic farming. Besides, due to
depression of the national economy, high price and un-trust on the
environment-friendly-agricultural products its consumption stands still. In this
context, the agricultural cooperatives in the northern part of CHUNGBUK which are playing the vital roles in providing services for farmers should
take part in the environment-friendly-agriculture more actively by taking
proper measures more actively for marketing improvement of the
environment-friendly-agricultural product including the promotion of its
consumption.
At the same time the agricultural cooperatives should try to boost income
of member farmers who are taking part in the environment-friendlyagriculture
by providing inputs for environment-friendly-agriculture at a
resonable price with the best quality. Training programs should be provided
for the officials, farmers, and consumers at the same time.
