초록

This research was to investigate the employment on job insecurity in environmental changes as it was perceived by hotel F&B dept. staffs. It also examined effects of the job insecurity on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior intentions of the staffs. Data were collected from 216 hotel F&B dept. staffs at 8 five star hotels in Seoul. Results of empirical analyses showed that environmental changes in employment, such as improve the non-regular employee and generalization of layoffs, did make significant effects on job insecurity, such as the possibility of loss of job and feeling of helplessness. Result also indicated that feeling of helplessness did make a significant influence on the organizational commitment, while it was not significantly associated with organizational citizenship behavior. And the possibility of loss of job was not significantly organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment.
