초록

본 연구의 목적은 중고령층의 정주의식에 지역사회의 물리적 환경조건과지역사회자본이 미치는 직접적인 영향과 삶의 만족도와 지역정체성을 통한간접적인 영향을 분석하고 정주의식을 제고할 정책방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 ‘2017 부산사회조사’ 데이터를 이용하였으며, 분석방법으로는 변수 간의 인과관계를 명확하게 분석하기 위해 두 개의 매개변수를 이용한 다중매개분석 방법을 적용하였다. 그리고 분석도구로는 PROCESSmacro를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 간략히 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저 지역사회의 물리적 환경조건 중에서 대중교통만족도, 보행환경만족도,주거만족도는 정주의식에 직간접적인 영향을 미치는 반면에 공원시설 수와문화시설 수는 직접효과는 없는 대신 매개변수를 통한 간접효과만 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지역사회자본 요인은 중고령층의 정주의식에 직접적효과와 두 개의 매개변수를 통한 간접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째,매개변수인 삶의 만족도와 지역정체성 중에서 지역정체성이 삶의 만족도보다 정주의식에 대한 간접효과의 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 본 연구의 분석결과를 근거로 지역사회의 물리적 환경조건 개선과 지역사회자본를 활용하는 관점에서 중고령층의 삶의 만족도와 지역민으로서 정체성을 제고하고 종국적으로 정주의식을 높일 수 있는 정책방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the direct impact of the socialphysical environment conditions and local social capital on the settlementconsciousness of the middle and old age group, and the indirect impactthrough the satisfaction with life and local identity, and to explore policymeasures to enhance their settlement consciousness. To do this, the '2017Busan Social Survey' data were used, and the analysis method applied amultiple-mediating effect method using two parameters to clearly analyzethe causal relationship between variables. And as an analysis tool,PROCESS macro was used. The results were as following : 1) Whensex, age, consciousness of subjective class, spouse with/without, lengthof residence were controlled, the satisfaction with housing, publictransportation availability, walking condition affected directly on thesettlement consciousness of the middle and the elderly, but the numberof cultural facilities and the number of parks were not directly correlatedwith it. 2) The local social capital namely general trust, the trust on localgovernment and number of communicating person affected directly onthe settlement consciousness and indirectly on it through the satisfactionwith life and local identity. That is, Both the local social capital variablesand the physical environment variables had mediate effect through thesatisfaction of life and local identity. 3)The local identity had higher effecton the settlement consciousness of middle aged and Elderly than satisfaction with Life. and also it was found that both the satisfaction with life andthe local identity have the complete mediate effect on the settlementconsciousness through the number of cultural facilities and the numberof park. Based on the analysis results of this study, It was discussedthe quality of life for the middle and the elderly and the policy measuresto enhance their identity as locals in terms of improving the physicalenvironment conditions of the community and utilizing local social capital.
