초록

This study aimed to investigate the error of early diastolic mitral valve inflow velocity according to the Doppler incidence angle in the evaluation of cardiac diastolic function. When the mitral valve inflow velocity and the ultrasound beam angle were parallel, between 20 and 30 degrees, and after correcting the angle, the E value was measured and compared. When the mitral valve inflow velocity and the ultrasound beam were parallel, the average mitral valve inflow velocity was 88.2±9.4 cm/sec, which was not statistically significantly different from the average velocity of 86.5±8.4 cm/sec when the angle was corrected (p>0.20). When measuring the pulsed Doppler of the mitral valve inflow of the heart, the angle should be as parallel as possible or within 20 degrees. However, when the angle between the blood flow and the ultrasound incidence direction exceeds 20 degrees due to the patient's condition, a method of correcting the Doppler incidence angle in the ultra- sound device is proposed, and this study is expected to be a method to increase the accuracy of evaluating cardiac diastolic function.
