4차 산업혁명 시대, AI와 초등체육교육의 초연결 (Hyperconnectivity between AI and Elementary Physical Education in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution)

초록

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 기술의 중심이 되는 AI의 등장과 발전, 교육과 AI, 스포츠와 AI를 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 체육교육에서 AI기술이 적용되어 나타나는 양상을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이 과정에서현재의 AI기술수준과 강한 인공지능의 수준에서 초등체육교육과 AI의 연결 양상을 예측하여 가상 시나리오로 제시하여 보았으며, 그 역기능도 함께 탐색해보았다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현재 인공지능 수준에서의 초등체육교육은 일부 도입된 가상현실 스포츠실을 바탕으로 웨어러블 디바이스, 인공지능 로봇, IoT 등이 초연결되어 나타날 수 있다. 교사는 이러한 상황에서 창의성을 발휘하여 AI를활용한 체육교육을 진행할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 강한 인공지능 수준에서의 초등체육교육의 비전을 살펴보았다. 강한 인공지능의 등장과 뉴럴링크 기술 등의 발달이 예상되는 미래사회는 인간과 기계의 구분이 명확해지지 않는다. 또한 실제 세계와 XR이 구분되지 않을 수도 있다. 이러한 상황에서 인간 교사와 AI교사의 관계는 어떻게 진행될 것인지 미지수이다. 중요한 것은 인간과 기계의 구분을 통해서 나타나야 할 인간다움으로서 이를 가르치기 위하여 초등체육교육은 반드시 필요하다고 볼 수 있다. 인간이 가지는 지, 덕, 체, 사회성, 실존성(영성) 등 여러 가지 요소들이 모두 체육교육과 연관되어 있기 때문이다. 셋째, AI활용으로 인한 역기능은 현재 수준에서 예상되는 문제와 강한 인공지능이 주도하는세계에서의 문제로 나누어 예상할 수 있었다. 우선, 현재 수준에서는 생체정보 보안과 윤리성에 대한문제, 체육교육의 본질로서 신체활동의 가치와 개별 스포츠에서 추구하는 가치 습득의 문제, 환경 구축에 대한 비용의 문제, 교사들의 부정적인 인식 개선과 재교육에 대한 문제 및 교육에 적합한 컨텐츠제작에 대한 문제를 예상하였다. 강한 인공지능의 수준에서는 기술 도핑과 유희성 중심의 체육교육으로 인한 단련의 의미 상실, AI가 관리하는 XR의 발달로 인한 신체활동 감소의 문제, AI교사와 인간교사의 관계 설정의 문제, AI교사가 잘못된 교육신념을 지녔을 경우 등을 고찰하였다. 마지막으로 인간다움을 기르는 교과로서 초등체육교육의 필요성을 제언하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the‘emergence and development of AI', which is thecenter of the 4th industrial revolution technology,‘education and AI’and ‘sports and AI’, and basedon this, to explore the aspects of AI technology applied in physical education. In this process, wepredicted the connection aspects between elementary physical education and AI at the current levelof AI technology and strong artificial intelligence and presented them as a virtual scenario and itsdysfunctions were also explored. The results are as follows. First, elementary physical education atthe current level of artificial intelligence can shown by hyper-connected wearable devices, artificialintelligence robots, and IoT based on the partially introduced virtual reality sports rooms. Teachersneed to exercise creativity in these situations to conduct physical education using AI. Second, thevision of elementary physical education at the level of strong artificial intelligence was examined. Ina future society where emergence of strong artificial intelligence and development of neural linktechnologies are expected, the distinction between humans and machines is not clear. Also, the realworld and XR may not be distinguished. In this situation, it is uncertain how the relationshipbetween human teachers and AI teachers will proceed. What is important is that humanity must beshown through the distinction between humans and machine, and to teach this, primary physicaleducation is essential. This is because various factors such as human knowledge, morality,physicality, sociality, and existentiality(spirituality) are all related to physical education. Third, thedysfunction caused by the use of AI could be predicted by dividing it into the problem expected atthe current level and the problem from strong artificial intelligence. First of all, we anticipatedproblems with biometric information security and ethics, the value of physical activity as the essenceof physical education and the acquisition of values pursued in individual sports, the cost ofenvironmental building, the problem of teachers'negative perceptions and re-education, and theproblem of content production appropriate for education. At the level of strong artificial intelligence,we considered the loss of meaning of training due to technological doping and leisure-orientedphysical education, the problem of decreasing physical activity due to the development of XRmanaged by AI, the problem of establishing relationships between AI teachers and human teachers,and AI teachers with wrong educational beliefs. Finally, we suggested the necessity of elementaryphysical education as a subject that fosters humanity.
