마을교육공동체 참여학교에 근무하는 교사의 분산적 리더십이 자원연계활동에 미치는 영향: 정서경험과 지역공동체 의식의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of the Distributed Leadership of School Teachers Participating in the Maeul Educational Community on Resource-Linking Activity: With Focus on Mediating Effect of Affection Experience and Se)

초록

이 연구의 목적은 마을교육공동체 참여학교에 근무하는 초·중등교사가 인식하는 분산적 리더십이 정서경험과지역공동체 의식을 매개로 자원연계활동에 영향을 미치는가에 대한 유효성을 살펴보는 것이다. 최종 분석에 포함된연구대상은 마을교육공동체에 참여하는 초·중등학교에 근무하는 교사 1,031명이다. 모든 자료 분석은 SPSS 24.0과AMOS 24.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하였다. 측정도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도 검증을 위해 탐색적·확인적 요인분석과 신뢰도분석을 수행하였고, 연구변인들 간 상관관계를 확인하기 위해 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였으며, 직접효과·간접효과의 부트스트래핑을 통해 매개효과를 재확인하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 첫째, 분산적 리더십은 정서경험, 지역공동체의식과 자원연계활동에 정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 정서경험은 지역공동체 의식과 자원연계활동에 정적 상관관계를 확인하였으며, 지역공동체 의식은 자원연계활동에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 정서경험은 분산적 리더십과 자원연계활동관계에서 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 지역공동체 의식은 분산적 리더십과 자원연계활동 관계에서 부분매개효과를확인하였다. 넷째, 정서경험과 지역공동체 의식은 분산적 리더십과 자원연계활동 관계에서 이중매개효과가 나타났다.
본 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 시사점과 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정성적 측면에 무게를 두었던 마을교육공동체연구를 정량적으로 접근하여 실증적인 연구변인들 간의 상관관계를 구명할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 이 연구에서는 교사가인식하는 분산적 리더십, 정서경험, 지역공동체 의식과 자원연계활동을 마을교육공동체 활성화를 위한 중요한 요인으로살펴보았으나, 좀 더 다양한 연구방법을 기반으로 마을교육공동체 추진요인을 탐색할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 마을교육공동체와 같이 교사가 학교-지역사회와의 긴밀한 연계성이 필요한 교육사업의 참여도를 제고하기 위해서는 교사의 인식제고, 변화하는 교사의 역할 탐색, 그리고 학교현장의 평생학습과 마을교육공동체 접목을 위한 학문적·실천적 연구 확장이요구된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the validity of the effect of the distributed leadership, perceived by elementary and secondary school teachers working at education project participation schools that link Maeul educational community by mediating affection experience, and sense of community, upon resource-linking activity. The subjects included in the final analysis are 1,031 teachers working in elementary and secondary schools and carrying out an education project in which schools and local communities must be closely linked, such as the Maeul educational community and the innovative education district project. All data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 statistical programs. To verify the validity and reliability of the measuring tools, the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis were performed, and the structural equation model analysis was conducted to confirm the correlation between research variables. In addition, the mediation effect was reaffirmed through bootstrapping of direct effect and indirect effect. The results of this study are as follows: First, it is confirmed that the distributed leadership has a positive effect on affection experience, sense of community, and resource-linking activity, and that affection experience has a significant positive correlation with sense of community and resource-linking activity, while sense of community has a positive effect on resource-linking activity. Second, it is found that affection experience has a mediating effect on the relationship between distributed leadership and resource-linking activity.
Third, it is confirmed that sense of community has the mediating effect in the relationship between distributed leadership and resource-linking activity. Fourth, it is revealed that affection experience and sense of community have the effectiveness of dual-mediating role in the relationship between distributed leadership and resource-linking activity. Based on the results of this study, suggestions and implications for future research are discussed.
Based on the results of this study, implications and conclusions of the follow-up study are as follows. First, it is necessary to investigate the relationship between empirical research variables by quantitative approach to the study of Maeul educational community which weighed on the qualitative aspect. Second, this study examined distributed leadership, affection experience, sense of community, and resource-linking activity recognized by teachers as important factors for activation of Maeul educational community. However, it is necessary to explore the factors driving the Maeul educational community based on more diverse research methods. Third, in order to enhance the participation of education projects that teachers need to be closely linked with the school-community as in the Maeul educational community, it is necessary to raise awareness of teachers, to explore the role of changing teachers, and necessary to expand academic and practical research for the integration.
