따뜻한 유아교육공동체 구축을 위한 개념모형 탐색 (A Study on a Conceptual Model for Building a Ddaddetan Early Childhood Education Community)

초록

유아교육기관에 대한 사회의 누적된 불신과 갈등, 기관 자체의 공동체적 문제에 대한 근본적인 해결을 위해 유아, 교사, 학부모 등을 비롯한 구성원의 생명성을 북돋우는 교육과 조직문화를 구현하는 따뜻한 유아교육공동체의 구축이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 유아교육기관 변화의 핵심 주체인 교사의 주체성을 중심으로 어떻게 교육공동체를 구현할 수 있는지 그 구축 과정에 초점을 둔 개념모형의 탐색을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구 고찰과 분석, 교사 FGI 등을 통해 1차 모형을 도출하고, 유아교육 전문가 검토 과정을 거쳐 단위 유아교육기관을 중심으로 한 교사 주도형 최종 모형을 개발하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 따뜻한 유아교육공동체의 개념과 특징을 밝혔다. 둘째, 개념모형의 개발 방향을 제시하였다. 셋째, 발아기, 착근기, 성장기, 성숙기, 확장기와 같은 국면의 이행과 순환을 촉진하는 따뜻한 유아교육공동체 구축의 원리를 도출하였다. 넷째, 따뜻한 유아교육공동체 구축을 위한 실행체제와 그 운용에 대해 제시하였다. 마지막으로 교사가 주도하고 유아교육 구성원들이 함께 따뜻한 유아교육공동체를 만들어나가는 과정에서 고려해야 할 점, 효율적인 실천 방안에 대한 시사점 및 본 연구의 제한점에 대해 논의하여 추후 연구를 촉진하였다는 데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

영어초록

There is a need to establish a Ddaddethan early childhood education community that embodies an educational and organizational culture that encourages the vitality of members, including young children, teachers, and parents. The purpose of this study was to explore the concept of the Ddaddethan early childhood education community and conceptual model, with a focus on the process of its establishment, based on the agency of the teacher, a key agent of change in early childhood education institutions. To develop a conceptual model, a primary model was derived through a literature review and analysis, teacher FGI( Focused Group Interview), among others. Then, through a review process with early childhood education experts, we developed a final model of a Ddaddethan early childhood education community led by teachers. The results of this study were as follows. First, the concept of the Ddaddethan early childhood education community was established, and its characteristics were presented. Second, the direction of development of the conceptual model was derived based on the process of reinventing the organizational culture of early childhood education institutions and the implementation system for this. Third, the principles for establishing a Ddaddethan early childhood education community were drawn up to promote the transition and circulation of phases such as germination, rooting, growth, maturity, and expansion. Fourth, the implementation system for establishing the Ddaddethan early childhood education community and its operation were presented, including the goal of each phase, core activities, practice strategies, competencies, and psychological bonding factors. Finally, the significance of this study is that calling for further study through discussing on implications for specific practical plans required in the process of building Ddaddetan early childhood education community and the limitations of this study.
