청소년 수련활동 인증제 미술교육프로그램의 효과성 연구 (Study on Effectiveness of Youth Training Activity Accreditation System Arts Education Program)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년 수련활동 인증제 미술교육프로그램을 통해 청소년들의 문화예술활동 경험 의미와 그 효과를 맥락적으로 살펴보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 청소년 활동 중 문화예술영역의 청소년 수련활동 인증제 미술교육프로그램을 선정하고 기획·운영한 후 프로그램을 분석하였다. 구성주의 교육관과 청소년 문화예술활동 효과 요인에 초점에 맞추어 프로그램을 분석한 결과와 학습과정에서의 학습자 활동 경험을 문화예술의 이해, 공동체 의식, 창의성, 주체성의 4가지 범주로 구분하여 그 의미를 살펴보았다. 이 연구를 통해 학습자들은 폭넓은 예술을 경험하고 예술적 감수성을 계발하여 풍부한 정서와 창조적인 능력을 길렀다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 학습자들은 다양한 문화 속에서 사회, 문화, 타인과 소통하며 자신의 삶을 영위할 수 있는 방법을 익혔다. 학습자들은 미술 재능기부와 사회참여활동이라는 융합된 두 영역을 통해 사회적 상호작용 역량을 높일 수 있었다. 본 연구는 청소년 미술 문화예술활동이 사회적 기능과 소통에 중점을 두고 작품 주제에 대해 학습자들이 다양하게 생각할 수 있도록 지도했다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 크다.

영어초록

This study aims to contextually discuss significance of youths’ culture and arts activity experience and the experience’s effects as looking into a youth training activity accreditation system arts education program. In order to achieve the research goal, the study selected a youth training activity accreditation system arts education program in this category of culture and arts out of other youth activities and analyzed the program after planning and operating. The study categorized findings of the program analysis, which focused on constructivist educational perspective and effective factors of youth culture and arts activity, and learners’ activity experience in a process of learning into four categories of understanding on culture and arts, community spirit, creativity and subjectivity and then, discussed the significance. The study confirmed that extensive arts experience helps learners to develop an artistic sense, rich emotions and creative ability until the learners finally form a harmonious personality. Learners acquired how to live their own lives while communicating with communities, cultures and other people in a variety of cultures. The study found out that learners improve the social interaction ability as participating in artistic talent donation and social activities in which the two categories would be integrated. Results of this study are considered academically significant in that the research proved how a youth art culture and arts activity would motivate learners to come up with various ideas about topics of work as the learners are provided with chances to strengthen social skills and communication. Any follow-up research should keep discussing how art education, as an education to reflect a reality of a society, would value a social responsibility of art and encourage the public in communication and participation.
