청소년 자원봉사활동의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 강릉시 중·고등학교 청소년을 중심으로 (A Study on the Impacts of the Performance of Youth Voluntary Activities)

초록

본 연구는 청소년 자원봉사활동이 청소년의 올곧은 성장을 위한 전인적 교육활동의 일환임을 전제로,교육적 효과의 최대화를 위한 명확한 목표의 설정(자원봉사의 성과)과 목표달성을 위한 구체적 방법논의(성과의 영향요인)를 위해 자원봉사 성과의 영향요인을 실증적으로 분석함으로써 효과적이고 효율적인 청소년 자원봉사 프로그램 개발 및 운영에 의미 있는 실천적 함의를 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 강릉소재중․고등학생 봉사참여자 330명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고, 개인적 성장, 지적․관계적 성장, 사회적 성장 등의 요소로 구성된 성과와 개인특성, 활동특성, 관계특성, 행정특성의 영향요인의관계를 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 분석결과, 전체 및 하위영역 성과에 자원봉사의 인지가 유의미한 변수임을 공통으로 하고, 개인적 성장에는 참여동기가, 지적․관계적 성장에는 업무인지도가, 사회적성장에는 자원봉사 동료가 각각 상대적 중요 변수로 확인되었다. 또한 요인별 상대적 중요도는 개인적 특성요인이 가장 중요한 요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 청소년 자원봉사프로그램 기획 및 운영 시 자원봉사의 인지를 포함한 개인특성 요인의 공통적 고려를 요해야함을 의미하고, 동시에 프로그램 성격에따른 성과유형을 상이하게 설정할 때 이를 촉진하기 위한 상황적 맥락추구도 그에 적합하게 상이해야함을의미하는 것이라 하겠다. 따라서 이러한 기본적 사항을 감안하면서 이의 구체적 적용을 위해 자원봉사 홍보활동의 강화, 나눔 교육(자원봉사활동 포함)의 상설화, 소집단 자원봉사활동의 기획, 봉사멘토의 연계,중․고등학교 내 자원봉사센터의 설치 및 유관기관과의 협력체계 구축 등이 필요함을 주요 대안으로 제안하였다.

영어초록

Youth voluntary activities as part of the whole man education activity for Youths, it willhelp grows in to youths properly and honestly with the correct character. These thoughts, thisstudy of aims is that deduce the practical suggestions which is meaning to effective andefficient youth voluntary activities program of development and the operation, which analyzespositively the effect factors of the voluntary service performance for the specific methoddiscussion(effect factors of the performance) for an attainment of objectives, and set(theperformance of the voluntary service) of the aim which is clear for the maximization ofeducational effect positively. For this, researchers surveyed about 330 middle and high studentvoluntary participants in Kangnung city, and asked about the performance which is composedof the element of personal growth, intellectual-related growth and social growth. and verified byhierarchical regression analysis about relationship of the effect factors personal characteristics,voluntary activity characteristics, relationship, administrative characteristics. To do with inanalytical result, the performance of the whole and subordinate position factors is composed ofthe recognition of a activity. A relative important variable respectively, have confirmed personalgrowth which is participation motives, and intellectual-related growth which is the recognition avoluntary affairs, and social growth which is the colleague volunteers. Also comparativeadvantage variable was confirmed as the personal characteristic variable. Like this result, whenthe youth voluntary activities program is to be planned and operated, it must be considerationthe recognition of the voluntary activities and personal characteristics. Simultaneously, when itmust be differently setting the types of performance in accordance with the program characters,it means that it must be suitably differ of pursuit of situation connection. Consequently like this basic fact, the study suggested of the some alternatives such as : “reinforcement of the voluntaryservice public relations”, “planning for a small group of volunteer activities”, “a permanentsystem of the education for caring and sharing”, “the cooperative systematic construction withthe relevant agencies of the system”, “the establishment of the voluntary service center insidethe middle-high school”.
