초록

첨두형석기(尖頭形石器)를 제작기법, 평면형태와 기부형태 및 크기를 기준으로 타제 6개 형식, 마제 12개 형식 등 총 18개 형식으로 구분하였다. 침형과 보트형은 신석기시대에 유효하며, 소형 첨두형석기가 전 시기동안 80% 이상의 비율을 유지한다.
전기에 수량이 가장 많고 대형 첨두형석기가 많이 출토된다. 소형은 타제 만입삼각형과 마제 만입보트형, 대형은 마제 평기침형과 마제 만입삼각형, 마제 평기보트형이 주를 이룬다. 중기는 소형의 마제 만입보트형이 가장 많고, 마제 평기보트형과 마제 평기삼각형이 급증한다. 대형은 타제 평기삼각형과 마제 만입침형의 비율이 높다. 후기에 소형은 타제 만입삼각형과 마제 만입보트형이 많다. 대형은 타제 만입삼각형, 마제 평기침형, 평기삼각형이 있다.
분포상은 소백산맥을 중심으로 이북은 마제, 이남은 타제가 주로 확인된다. 소형 마제 침형은 동북·서북지역, 중서부지역의 대동강유역을 중심으로 분포한다. 마제 보트형은 대동강유역에 곡선적인 신부 형태가, 한강유역에 직선적인 형태가 많다. 마제 삼각형은 동해안지역에 먼저 나타나고 이후 남서부·남동부지역에서 확인된다. 대형 첨두형석기는 남부지역에서 폭이 넓은 타제 유경식, 평기삼각형, 만입삼각형, 마제 만입삼각형이 확인된다. 중서부지역과 동해안지역은 침형이 주를 이룬다. 이러한 양상은 유적의 입지와 공반도구로 볼 때, 각 지역에서 행해지던 어로방식의 차이에 의한 것으로 판단된다.

영어초록

There have not been sufficient number of studies about pointed stone tools. This paper indicates this problem and examined pointed stone tools from the view of formalism.
I selected samples of pointed stone tools and categorized them, into 18 types, based on their manufacturing techniques, shape of plane part, shape of base part, and size. I could presuppose the needle type and the boat type as the exclusive types of plane shape which are found only in the Neolithic Age.
In the early period, the largest quantity was found, More large pointed stone tools were found than other periods. In the middle period, the polished indented boat type was the most common type in small ones. In large ones, the chipped plane triangular type was dominant while the polished indented needle type followed it. In the late period, small ones the chipped indented triangular type was most common. Among polished ones, the indented boat type showed the highest ratio. In large ones, the chipped indented triangular type were found respectively.
In the aspect of regions, with Sobaek Mountains as the center, polished ones were common in the north and chipped ones in the south. The small polished needle type was found in the northeastern and northwestern area and around Daedong River basin in midwestern area. The polished boat type showed the highest ratio in the midwestern area and the body part was mostly curved around the Daedong River basin but straight around the Han River. The polished triangular type was firstly appeared in the area of east coast, and from the middle period, it was found in the southwestern and southeastern areas.
In the southern area, the wide chipped stemmed type, plane triangular type, indented triangular type, and polished indented triangular type were found as pointed stone tools. In the midwestern area and east cost area features the slender needle type pointed stone tools. Considering the tools accompanying in excavations, the polished needle type pointed stone tools are in line with the presupposition of the previous studies which regarded them as Jjilgaesal.
