A 어린이집 보육실습 담당자의보육실습 운영 개선을 위한 실행연구 (Action research to improve the childcare practicum operation of the practicum manager at A childcare center)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 A 어린이집 보육실습 담당자의 보육실습 운영 개선을 위한 방안을 실행하고, 실행과정에 참여한 보육실습 담당자와 지도교사의 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 2021년 1월 18일부터 11월 22일까지 실행연구가 실시되었으며, 서울시 소재 A 어린이집의 보육실습 담당자인 연구자 및 11명의 지도교사가 연구에 참여하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육실습 담당자의 실습 운영을 개선하기 위해 관리자와 지원자 역할을 토대로 방안을 실행했다. 1차 실행에서 연구자인 보육실습 담당자는 체계화된 관리자와 강화된 지원자의 역할을 수행했다. 2차 실행에서는 확대된 관리자와 지원자의 역할을 수행했다. 둘째, 보육실습 담당자의 실습 운영 개선을 위한 실행과정에서 실습 담당자와 지도교사의 변화는 다양하게 나타났다. 먼저, 보육실습 담당자는 관리자로서 실습 운영의 체계성을 확립했고, 지원자로서 전문성이 향상되었으며, 역할수행 과정을 통해 반성적 성찰의 중요성을 인식했다. 다음으로 지도교사는 실습 담당자의 관리와 지원적 역할수행을 통해 전문성을 발달시켰고, 함께 성장하는 교사공동체의 중요성을 인식하게 되었다. 본 연구결과는 보육실습 운영에 있어 보육실습 담당자의 역할을 활성화하고, 양질의 보육교사 양성을 위한 어린이집의 질 높은 보육실습 운영의 필요성을 시사한다.

영어초록

This study aims to implement a plan to improve the childcare practice operation of the practicum manager at A childcare center and to examine changes in the practicum manager and the cooperating teachers who participated in the implementation process. Action research was conducted from January 18 to November 22, 2021. The participants of the study were the researcher who is also a practicum manager and 11 cooperating teachers working at A childcare center located in Seoul. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, in order to improve the childcare practice operation of the practicum manager, an action plan was implemented based on the practicum manager’s role of managing and supporting. In the first implementation, the researcher, who is the practicum manager, played the role of a systematic manager and a reinforced supporter. In the second implementation, the practicum manager played an expanded manager role as well as a supporter role. Second, in the implementation process for improving the childcare practice operation, various changes appeared within the practicum manager and the cooperating teachers. First, the practicum manager established a systematic childcare practice operation as a manager, improved professionalism as a supporter, and recognized the importance of reflective contemplation through the role performance process. Next, the cooperating teachers developed professionalism through the practicum manager’s role of managing and supporting, and recognized the importance of the teacher community growing together. This study provides an implication to revitalize the role of a practicum manager in the childcare practice operation and suggests the need for high-quality childcare practice operation in order to foster high-quality childcare teachers.
