다문화가정 어머니의 개인주의-집단주의 문화성향 가치와 문화적응스트레스가 다문화청소년 자녀의 진로장벽에 미치는 영향: 자녀가 지각하는 어머니의 진로지원행동의 조절효과를 중심으로

연구 목적: 본 연구는 중 3, 고 1, 고 2학년 다문화가정 어머니의 문화성향가치, 문화적응스트레스 및 다문화청소년 진로장벽의 종단적 구조관계 및 진로지원행동의 조절효과를 분석하는데 있다.
연구 방법: 이를 위하여 1,041명의 다문화가정 어머니와 청소년 패널자료(MAPS)를 이용하여 다변량잠재성장모델(Multivariate LGCM) 분석하였으며 조절효과검증을 위해 Marsh의 검증을 적용하였다.
연구 내용: 이 논문은 다문화가정 어머니의 문화성향가치, 문화적응스트레스가 다문화청소년의 진로장벽에 종단적인 영향을 미치며 이들 사이에서 어머니의 진로지원행동이 다문화청소년의 진로장벽에 미치는 영향의 차이가 있음을 도출하였다결론 및 제언: 본 연구 분석결과는 첫째, 다문화가정 어머니의 개인주의문화성향은 문화적응스트레스에 높은 영향을 미쳤고, 다문화청소년의 진로장벽은 학년이 올라갈수록 낮아져 어머니의 개인주의문화성향이 오히려 청소년 자녀에게 긍정적으로 진로장벽을 극복하게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응스트레스가 높을수록 다문화청소년 자녀의 진로장벽 인식도 높았고 시간이 지날수록 더 높게 인식했다. 셋째, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화성향가치, 문화적응스트레스가 다문화청소년 자녀의 진로장벽에 미치는 영향은 다문화청소년이 지각하는 어머니의 진로지원행동에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 추후 연구에는 다문화가정 출신국가의 다양한 문화배경과 관련한 문화가치 영향의 요인별 도출을 제안하는 바이다.

The Effect of Individualistic-Collective Cultural Orientation Values and Multicultural Mothers’ Cultural Adaptation Stress on Career Barriers for Children of Multicultural Adolescents: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Their Children’s Career Support Behavior*

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the longitudinal structural relationships between the cultural orientation values and acculturative stress of multicultural family mothers, and the career barriers of multicultural adolescents in middle school 3rd, high school 1th, and high school 2nd, as well as the moderating effect of career support behaviors. To this end, the Multivariate Potential Growth Model (Multivariate LGCM) was analyzed using 1,041 multicultural mothers and adolescents panel data (MAPS), and Marsh’s verification was applied to verify the moderating effect. This paper found that the cultural orientation value and cultural adaptation stress of mothers from multicultural families have a longitudinal effect on the career barriers of multicultural youth, and among them, there is a difference in the impact of mothers’ career support behavior on career barriers of multicultural adolescents. As a result of the analysis of this study, first, it was found that the individualistic cultural orientation of mothers from multicultural families had a high influence on cultural adaptation stress, and the career barrier of multicultural adolescents decreased as the grade went up, so that the mother’s individualistic cultural orientation positively overcomes the career barrier for adolescents children. Second, the higher the cultural adaptation stress of mothers from multicultural families, the higher the awareness of career barriers of multicultural adolescents children, and the higher the recognition over time. Third, the influence of mothers’ cultural orientation values and cultural adaptation stress on career barriers for children of multicultural adolescents differed according to the mother’s career support behavior perceived by multicultural adolescents. In future studies, it is proposed to derive each factor of the influence of cultural values related to various cultural backgrounds in the country of origin from multicultural families.
