이중주어문의 생략어 복원에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Resolution of Zero Anaphora in Double Subject Constructions)

초록

이 논문은 생략어 복원 말뭉치를 기반으로 이중주어문의 생략어 복원 양상을 분석하고, 이중주어문의 주요 논의를 반영하여 생략어 복원의 불일치 문제를 해결하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그동안 이중주어문 연구는 기존의 예문과 문장성분이 온전히 실현된 문장만을 반복적으로 분석해온바 본고는 생략어 복원 말뭉치를 통해 문장성분이 생략되어 실현된 구어의 실례를 다루었다.
이중주어문은 심리 형용사 구문, 소속 관계 유형, 수량사 구문, 소유 구문의 네 유형으로 나누어 나타나는 주어에 대한 분석 양상을 유형별로 살폈다. 심리 형용사 구문과 소속 관계 유형은 NP1이 주어로 분석되기도 하고, NP2가 주어로 분석되기도 하는 불일치 양상을 보였다. 다만 심리 형용사 구문은 NP2가 일정한 표현으로 분명하게 나타나는 경우는 일관되게 주어로 분석되는 경향이 강했다. 또한 소속 관계 유형은 NP2가 척도 명사인 경우에 한하여 불일치 양상을 보였고 그 외에는 NP2가 주어로 분석되었다. 수량사 구문은 기존의 논의에서 NP1을 주어로 분석하지만 생략어 복원 말뭉치에서는 선행어 선택의 우선 순위에 따라 서술어와 가까운 NP2가 주어로 분석됨을 파악하였다. 소유 구문은 NP2가 일관되게 주어로 분석되어 주제어설의 분석과 합치되는 양상을 보였다.
생략어 복원 말뭉치에 나타난 이중주어문은 대체로 NP2가 주어로 분석되는바 결론적으로 모든 유형의 이중주어문에 대하여 NP2를 주어로 분석하는 것을 문제 해결 방안으로 삼았다. 타당성의 근거로 주제어설이 주로 적용되었다.
본고는 생략어 복원 말뭉치를 통해 이중주어문을 새로운 관점에서 살폈다는 점과 이중주어문의 유형별 세부 적용안을 통해 생략어 복원의 불일치와 오류의 문제 해결에 기여하고자 한 점에서 의의를 지닐 수 있다.

영어초록

This study aims to analyze Zero Anaphora Resolution aspect of Double subject constructions based on Zero Anaphora Resolution Corpus, and to solve the inconsistency problem of Zero Anaphora Resolution by reflecting the main discussion of Double subject constructions.
While previous studies on Double subject constructions has repeatedly analyzed existing example sentences and the sentences which show intactly the sentence components, this study deals with real examples of spoken language which omits the sentence components through Zero Anaphora Resolution Corpus.
The study devides Double subject constructions into four types : Psychological adjective structure, The belonging and location construction, Numeral quantifier construction, and Possessive structure, and examines the analysis aspect on the subjects appearing by type. Psychological adjective structure and The belonging and location construction shows discordance aspect which is analyzed with NP1 as the subject or NP2 as the subject. However, Psychological adjective structure tends to be analyzed consistently with NP2 as the subject when NP2 appeared clearly with constant expression. In addition, The belonging and location construction shows discordance aspect only when NP2 is a scale noun, and in other cases, is analyzed with NP2 as the subject. Numeral quantifier construction which was analyzed with NP1 as the subject in previous studies is analyzed with NP2 near the predicate as the subject according to the priority of selecting the antecedent in Zero Anaphora Resolution Corpus. Possessive structure shows a consistent pattern in which NP2 is analyzed as the subject.
As Double subject constructions appearing in Zero Anaphora Resolution Corpus are generally analyzed with NP2 as the subject, in conclusion, the study regards analyzing NP2 as the subject for all types of Double subject constructions as a solution. In the process, the theory of sentence topic is mainly applied.
The study is meaningful in that it examines Double subject constructions from a new perspective through Zero Anaphora Resolution Corpus, and contributes to solving the problem of inconsistency and errors in Zero Anaphora Resolution through detailed application plans for each type of Double subject constructions.
