초록

This research has been started to seek a direction for landscape planning, to maintain the characteristics of the historic city. As an ancient historic city in the 7th century, Shilla King’s capital is not only the role model of city planning of Eastern Asia, but also influence today’s city planning enormously. Thus, this research is to show how to establish landscape planning that stands together with the cultural property protection and with the recovery of the original city structure, based on backgrounds as mentioned above. Specifically, a reference of how an ancient city in Nara, Japan, restored its original city structure and landscape planning, can be seen through a questionnaire research that compares the ideas of how people in these two cities think about historic landscape planning. This research which is based on the comparison shows the landscape of the historic city preservation system, and also it shows the basic consideration about landscape structure and landscape axis for the planning implications. As a solution, the basic landscape structure is set on the south-north axis with the Jujak main road and on the east-west axis with the mount Myeonghwal and mount Sundo. This structure is corresponding to old pang structure. The standard method also mentioned here according to the main view cone and the sky line. Consequently, this research will be a essential reference to constructing the historic city landscape planning for the practical policy making.
