성인 남녀의 부모애착과 이상섭식행동의 관계: 성별로 조절된 신체불만족의 매개효과 (The Relationship Between Parent Attachment and Disordered Eating Behaviors in Adult Men and Women: The Mediation Effects of Body Dissatisfaction Moderated by Gender)

초록

목적 본 연구는 부모애착이 신체불만족을 매개로 이상섭식행동에 미치는 영향이 성별에 따라 다르게 조절됨을 확인하여 성인의 건강에 필요한 심리적 자원을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
방법 전국의 만 20~ 39세의 성인남녀 430명을 대상으로 자기 보고식 온라인 설문지를 작성 후 수립된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 및Mplus 7.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석되었다. 매개효과 검증 3단계 절차를 적용하였고, Sobel Test를 활용하여 매개효과의 유의성을 확인하였다. 변인관계가 성별이 조절하는지를 검증하기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 조절효과의 양상을 확인하기 위하여 단순 기울기 분석(Simple Slope Analysis)을 활용하였다. 조절된 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 부트스트래핑(2,000회)을 적용해 간접효과의 유의성을 추정하고, 조절 변인의 수준에 따른 매개효과의 크기를 살펴보았다.
결과 첫째, 부모애착과 이상섭식행동간의 관계를 신체불만족이 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모애착과 신체불만족 관계는 성별에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모애착이 신체불만족을 매개로 이상섭식행동에 미치는 영향이 성별에 따라 다르게 나타나, 조절된 매개효과가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다.
결론 이상의 결과를 종합하면 부모애착으로 인한 신체불만족이 이상섭식행동에 미치는 영향에 있어 남녀 간의 차이가 있으므로, 치료에 있어 성별에 따른 개입방식이 달라져야함을 알 수 있다.

영어초록

Objectives Through online survey, it has progressed a research activity for the effect of parent attachment on the abnormal eating behavior regulated by gender with meditation effect of body dissatisfaction.
Methods As subject of research,it collects the data from 430 adults between 20- to 39-year-old men and women. After completing questionnaires for the parent attachment and body dissatisfaction, and the Korean table manner, it analyzes the data by SPAA 21.0 and Mplus 7.0 program. In relationship between the parent attachment and the abnormal eating behavior, the 3 verification stage steps of meditation effect is applied for mediation effect of body dissatisfaction, moreover, the meditation effect is revalidated by the Sobel test. Also, it conductsthe hier archical analysis to verify the gender regulation effect on relationship between the body dissatisfaction and abnor mal eating behavior and it conducts the simple slope analysis to verify the aspect of meditation effect. To verify the regulated meditationeffect, it applies the bootstrapping to estimate the significance of indirect effect and it considers the amount of meditation effect according to a level of moderating variable.
Results First, it was found that body dissatisfaction partially mediated the relationship between parental attach ment and abnormal eating behavior. Second, the relationship between parental attachment and body dissat isfaction was found to vary according to gender. Third, the effect of parental attachment on abnormal eating be havior through body dissatisfaction was different according to gender, indicating that the controlled mediating ef fect was significant.
Conclusions Combining the above results, it can be seen that there is a difference between men and women in the effect of body dissatisfaction due to parental attachment on abnormal eating behavior, so the intervention method according to gender should be different in treatment.
