인칭접미사 ‘-가, -자’의 중국어 대응 표현 연구 (A Study on Chinese Corresponding Expressions of Personal Suffixes ‘-ga’ and ‘-ja’)

초록

This paper aims to study the corresponding expressions of Korean personal suffixes ‘-ga' and ‘-ja' in a contrastive view. We looked through Korean-Chinese dictionaries and Chinese corpus to find how entry words which share personal suffixes ‘-ga' and ‘-ja', and suggested a method of revision on them. Our discussions so far are summarized as follows. First, we found out a number of entry words which are registered in Korean dictionaries but not in Korean-Chinese ones. Although both languages use Chinese characters, the Korea suffixes of Chinese characters are more productive than those in Chinese. If Korean suffixes in Chinese characters have corresponding Chinese expressions, it would be easier for Chinese Korean learners, but many cases did not have corresponding ones.
Next, while they are registered both in the dictionary and corpus, only few cases had 1:1 correspondence between Korean and Chinese expressions, and many cases did not have that sort of correspondence. Chinese Korean learners should feel quite difficult about this. A lot of cases registered in Korean-Chinese dictionaries were found not to be practically used, and, in contrary, we found that some words that are practically used were missing from dictionaries.
This study argues that registration of words in Korean-Chinese dictionaries should start from a more practical aspect. Moreover, we could acknowledge, through this study, the necessity to investigate how the suffixes ‘-家’ and ‘-者’, which are shared in Chinese, are shown in Chinese-Korean dictionaries and Korean corpus. This is remaining as a subject for following studies.
