초록

우리나라의 급속한 고령화로 인해 그에 대한 대처방안이 사회적 중요한 문제로 대두되면서 다양한 관점에서 문제점을 파악하여 개선책을 제시하는 많은 연구가 진행 중이며, 또한 증가하는 노인인구 수용을 위해 노인시설도 계속적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 노인의료복지시설의 수요증가와 1990년대 후반부터 시작된 활발한 노인의료복시시설의 건축설계경기로 약 10년이 지난 현재 큰 변화가 있을 것이라고 예측되나 건축설계경기에 나타난 노인의료복시시설의 변화흐름에 관한 연구는 부족한 것으로 보인다. 그렇기 때문에 건축설계경기에 나타난 노인의료복시시설의 설계개념과 공간관계 분석을 통해서, 공간구성의 실태와 거주성과의 관계를 파악하여, 설계경기 노인의료복시시설에 대한 변화 분석과 다양한 각도에서의 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 현 우리나라의 노인문제, 노인복지정책 등으로 접근하여 노인의료복지시설의 유형 및 현황에 관한 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 본론부분에서는 연구대상 시설의 일반적 특성과 거주층에 대한 건축적 특징을 살펴보고 전반적인 현황을 조사한 후 앞에서 이루어진 거주층의 건축적 특징에 따라 세부적으로 구성요소별로 구분, 유형화하여, 조사대상시설의 항목별 계획경향을 알아보았다. 결론에서는 이상의 내용을 종합적으로 고려하여 조사대상시설의 전체적 변화과정을 추론하여 연도별로 개념의 변화 경향을 도출하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 1990년대 이후 건축설계경기에 나타난 노인의료복지시설의 거주층을 분석해 봄으로써 건축설계경기 노인의료복지시설의 변화과정 및 경향을 알아보고 본 연구결과를 통해 향후 계획될 노인의료복지시설의 더 나은 방향을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

영어초록

As the measures for the rapid changes into aging society in Korea are rising as an important social issue, there are many studies underway that are suggesting improvement by understanding problems in various aspects as senior facilities are also continuously increasing to accommodate senior population. Even though it is expected that the demand for senior medical welfare facilities will be increased and huge changes will be coming now after ten years since the architecture design competition for senior medical welfare facilities started actively from the end of 1990s, we are still lack of studies on change flows of senior medical welfare facilities shown in the architecture design competition. Therefore, it is necessary to have studies on change analysis of senior medical welfare facilities of the design competition in various angles by understanding the relations between the current status of space composition and habitability through the analysis of the relations between the design concepts and space of senior medical welfare facilities shown in the architecture design competition. This study conducted theoretical consideration of the current status and types of senior medical welfare facilities by approaching the current senior problems and welfare policies for seniors in Korea. In the body part, architectural characteristics of residence floor were researched with the overall current status. After that, they were divided into each composition element in accordance with the architectural characteristics of residence floor, and the plan tendency for each item of the subject facilities was understood. In conclusion, the change tendency of concepts was drawn by year by deducing the overall change process of the subject facilities as considering the contents above. By analysing residence floor of senior medical welfare facilities shown in the architecture design competition after 1990s, this study understood the tendency and change process of senior medical welfare facilities of the architecture design competition.
