특수교사의 장애인 평생교육 인지정도 및 활용정도가 지적장애 학생의 장애인 평생교육 참여정도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Special Teacher's Recognition and Use of Lifelong Education for the Intellectual Disabilities on the Participation in Lifelong Education)

이 연구는 특수교사의 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인지정도 및 참여정도가 지적장애 학생의 졸업 후 장애인 평생교육 참여정도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 수행하였다. 이 연구는 총 125명의 특수교사를 조사 대상으로 선정하였으며, 이들을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문조사의 주된 내용은 특수교사의 개인적 특성 4개 문항, 특수교사의 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인지정도 4개 문항, 특수교사의 장애인 평생교육 활용정도 3개 문항, 지적장애 학생의 졸업 후 장애인 평생교육 참여정도 1개 문항 등 총 12개 문항으로 구성하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교사는 장애인 평생교육 개념과 필요성에 대해 어느 정도 인지하고 있으나, 구체적인 장애인 평생교육 정책 및 자원에 대해서는 잘 알지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 특수교사는 대체로 장애인 평생교육을 활용하지 못하고 있으며, 이들이 지도하는 지적장애 학생 중 연평균 1.81명이 장애인 평생교육에 참여하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특수교사의 장애인 평생교육 정책 인지정도 및 자원 인지정도, 진로교육 및 진로지도 시 장애인 평생교육 활용정도가 지적장애 학생의 졸업 후 장애인 평생교육 참여정도에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특수교육 및 장애인 평생교육 현장과 후속연구를 위해 본 연구는 특수교육과 장애인 평생교육 간 연계·협력 방안, 분야별 발전방안 등과 같은 제언을 몇 가지 제시하였다.

This study was conducted to find out the effect of the degree of awareness and participation of special teachers in lifelong education for the intellectual Disabilities on the degree of participation in lifelong education for the disabled after graduation. This study selected a total of 125 special teachers as the subject of the survey, and the survey was conducted on them. The main contents of the survey consisted of 12 questions, including 4 questions on the personal characteristics of special teachers, 4 questions on the degree of awareness of lifelong education for the disabled by special teachers, 3 questions on the degree of use of lifelong education for the disabled by special teachers, and 1 question on the degree of participation in lifelong education for the disabled after graduation. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that special teachers were somewhat aware of the concept and necessity of lifelong education for the disabled, but were not well aware of the specific policies and resources for lifelong education for the disabled. In addition, special teachers generally do not utilize lifelong education for the disabled, and an average of 1.81 students with intellectual disabilities per year participate in lifelong education for the disabled. Second, as a result of hierarchical regression analysis, it was found that the degree of recognition and resource recognition of lifelong education policies for the disabled, and the degree of use of lifelong education for the disabled in career education and career guidance had a positive effect on the degree of participation in lifelong education for the disabled after graduation. For the field of special education and lifelong education for the disabled and follow-up research, this study presented several suggestions such as linkage and cooperation between special education and lifelong education for the disabled, and development plans by field.
