초록

Sound effects design for visual effects images needs the more quantitative work as compared to the sound effects design for a general moving image work. And various methods on the classification of sound effects have to be thought by sound designer when he works on editing sound effects. Because many sound effects are put at the same time, it is necessary to put distinction between the sound effects layers, and the relationship between the sound effects and the external sounds should also be considered.
The technical methods for controlling the depth of sound effects related with the psychological characteristics of listeners should be assigned adequately. When various sound effects hit each other, the appropriate use of contrast between them should be applied, but they should be able to fuse with each other. The appropriate use of sound effects is needed for the manipulated images. Sound effects design has to be thought with the role and function not only for the sound effects but also as a part of for overall moving image work including visual effects.
The plan and production of sound effects design for visual effects image have to be flexible, depending on the genre and scale of the moving image. It has to be recognized how virtual sound effects and symbolic sound effects are interpreted in the visual effects image work when the sound designer works on the sound effects editing. Before starting sound effects design for certain moving image work including visual effects, the message, story, and finality of the work should be needed to analyse accurately. According to the result of the analysis of the work, the plan of sound effects design should be set up.
