초등학교 아동의 학업적 자기효능감과 실패내성에 대한 잠재프로파일과 학교적응 및 영향 변인 (The relationship Between Latent Profile According to Academic Self-efficacy and Failure Tolerance and School Adjustment and Influence Factors of Elementary School Children)

초록

본 연구는 초등학교 아동의 학업적 자기효능감과 실패내성에 대한 다양한잠재프로파일과 학교적응 및 영향변인 간 관계를 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 한국아동패널(PSKC) 자료를 활용하여 잠재프로파일 분석(Latent Profile Analysis: LPA)을적용한 결과, 잠재프로파일은 최종 3개인 모형이 자료에 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 모든 요인이 가장 높은 학업동기우수 집단(22.4%), 모든 요인이 평균수준에 있는 학업동기보통 집단(53.2%), 정서적 측면을 제외한 요인에서 가장 낮은수준을 보이는 학업동기미흡-정서조절보통 집단(24.4%)이 나타났다. 또한 잠재프로파일에 따라 학교적응 수준에 차이가 나타나는지 살펴본 결과 학업동기우수, 학업동기보통, 학업동기미흡-정서조절보통 집단 순으로 학교적응 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 잠재프로파일 분류에 영향을 미치는 변인을 검증한 결과 신경증, 부모애착 및 또래관계가 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 신경증 수준이 낮거나부모애착 수준이 높을수록 혹은 또래관계 수준이 높을수록 학업동기미흡-정서조절보통 집단 또는 학업동기보통 집단보다 학업동기우수 집단에 속할 가능성이 높았다.
본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 아동의 학업적 자기효능감과 실패내성에 따른 다양한이질적인 하위 잠재프로파일이 존재함을 파악하고, 각 유형별 적응 수준의 차이를확인하였으며, 잠재집단 분류에 있어서 개인내적, 환경적 변인이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 보다 통합적으로 살펴보았다는 점에서 실증적 함의점이 있다. 마지막으로 본연구의 의의와 제한점이 논의되었다.

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between latent profile according to academic self-efficacy and failure tolerance and school adjustment and influence factors of elementary school children. As a result of applying Latent Profile Analysis (LPA) using PSKC data, it was found that the model with the final three profiles was the most suitable for the data: The excellent academic motivation Group (22.4%) in which all factors were the highest, the moderate academic motivation group (53.2%) in which all factors were at the average level, and the insufficient academic motivation-moderate emotional regulation group (24.4%) showing the lowest level in all factors except for the emotional aspect. In addition, as a result of examining whether there was a difference in the level of school adjustment according to the latent profile, it was found that the level of school adjustment was high in the order of the excellent academic motivation group, the moderate academic motivation group, and the insufficient academic motivation-moderate emotional regulation group. Finally, as a result of examining the factors affecting the classification of latent profiles, neuroticism, parental attachment, and peer relationship were found to have significant effects. That is, the lower the neuroticism, the higher the parental attachment, or the higher the peer relationship, the higher the probability of belonging to tthe excellent academic motivation group than the moderate academic motivation group or the insufficient academic motivation-moderate emotional regulation group. This study has empirical implications in that it identified the existence of various sub-latent profiles according to elementary school children's academic self-efficacy and failure tolerance, and confirmed the differences in the level of adaptation for each profile. In addition, this study investigated the effect of intrapersonal, family and social environment variables on profile classification in a more integrated way. Finally, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
