『녹색평론』 소재 시의 생태적 특성 연구: 1990년대를 중심으 (A Study on the Ecological Characteristics of Poetry based on The Green Review -Focusing on the 1990s-)

초록

이 논문의 목적은 1990년대 생태잡지 『녹색평론』 소재 시의 생태적 특성을 잡지 이념과의 관련성 속에서 분석하고 범주화하는 것이다. 『녹색평론』은 ‘시인=생태론자’라는 인식하에 독특한 시 인식을 실천하였다. 거기에는 기획자 김종철의 ‘시의 마음’론이 큰 역할을 담당하였다.
『녹색평론』 소재 시를 잡지 이념과 견주어 볼 때 크게 세 범주로 구분할 수 있다. 첫째, 근대 기술문명과 개발 비판 테제이다. 댐 건설이나 핵개발 비판 등 근대 문명에 따른 생태 위기에 주목한 시들이 여기에 해당한다. 『녹색평론』의 대표 시인 이선관은 근대문명 비판을 국가와 자본의 측면에서 접근하였다는 점에서 주목할 만하다. 그러나 모호하고 이중적인 김종철의 근대 과학기술 비판과는 달리, 시는 명료함과 단순성의 특징을 보여주었다.
둘째, 소농적 삶의 현실과 자립성 범주이다. 『녹색평론』이 제시한 이념적 대안은 소농의 회복과 순환경제였다. 문제는 이념적 대안과 현실적 삶의 격차가 크다는 점이다. 소농민의 현실적 삶을 다룬 시는 현실에서 말해지지 않는 고통에 주목했다. 반면 자립적 순환경제를 다룬 시는 인간-비인간의 공생 모델을 아름답게 구현했다.
셋째, ‘생태공경’이라는 생태윤리의 범주이다. 『녹색평론』은 ‘만물은 형제’라는 인식과 ‘생태공경’이라는 윤리적 개념을 제출했다. 이성선은 근본생태론의 입장에서 세계의 근원적 연결성을 표현했다. 생태윤리는 자연 타자를 탈인간주의적으로 활성화는 의인화나 애니미즘을 재인식할 것을 요청한다. 이를 통해 미래 생태시의 가능성을 참조할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this paper is to analyze and categorize the ecological characteristics of poems based on The Green Review in the 1990s in connection with the ideology of The Green Review. The Green Review practiced a unique perception of poetry under the recognition of ‘poet = ecologist’ In that, planner Kim Jong-chul’s theory of ‘The Mind of Poetry’ took a big role.
Poems based on The Green Review can be largely divided into three categories. First, modern technological civilization and criticism of development. These include poems that pay attention to the ecological instability caused by modern civilization, including criticism of dam construction and nuclear development. Yi Seon-gwan, the representative poet of the The Green Review, is noteworthy in that he approached the criticism of modern civilization in terms of the state and capitalism. However, unlike Kim Jong-cheol’s vague and dual criticism of modern science and technology, the poem showed the characteristics of clarity and simplicity.
Secondly, It’s a category about the reality of small farmers’ lives and Independent life. The ideological alternatives to the The Green Review were the recovery of small farmers and the circular economy. The poem about the real life of a small farmer focused on the pain that was not told in reality. On the other hand, poetry dealing with an independent cyclical economy beautifully expresses a human-non-human symbiotic model.
Thirdly, it is a category of ecological ethics called ‘respect for ecology’. The Green Review submitted the recognition that ‘all things are brothers’ and the ethical concept of ‘respect for ecology’. Lee Sung-sun expressed the connectivity of the world from the perspective of fundamental ecology. Ecological ethics call for a re-recognition of the personification or animism that dehumanizes natural others. It is expected that this will serve as an opportunity to refer to the possibilities of future ecological poetry.
