초록

After the Einstein’s Relativity Theory and Heisenberg’s Quantum Theory there came an new era in the history of science. Newtonian mechanics is no more effective. Instead Uncertainty replaced certainty, Traditional absolute space and time which events are taken place is can wrap and curve with gravity. These new discovery impacted not only Natural Science but also all over the Human Science, Arts, Painting, Literature, and Music.
Meanwhile Ancient East Asian Thoughts include Buddhism focused on event rather than matter. A Book of Changes and Laozi and Zhuangzi focused on mutual contraction. Yin and Yang, phenomenon and inner essence. It would be proper to say that Chinese main thoughts are similar to the 20th century’s New Physics which means decline of absoluteness in some meaning. We doing Humanities are not free from this huge tendency. And it would be meaningful to study Sinology from the aspect of convergence. At the end of my article, I presented my examples of interdisciplinary cases in Sinology from Yi-jing, Laozi Daodejing, and Zhuangzi’s texts.
