재무비율분석을 통한 국민체육진흥기금 융자수혜업체의 경영성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Business Performance of Companies Benefiting from Funding by KSPO through Financial Ratio Analysis)

초록

이 연구는 국민체육진흥기금 융자수혜업체의 재무제표를 이용하여, 재무비율분석의 계량적 검증을 통해 융자수혜업체의 재무상태 및 경영성과를 파악하고, 설문을 병행하여 융자사업 전반적인 인식을 살펴봄으로써, 국민체육진흥기금 융자사업의 효율적 운영을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 조사대상은 기금 융자지원을 받은 체육용구생산업체 16개 업체와 체육시설업체 18개 업체, 총 34개 업체의 재무제표를 확보하여 재무비율을 분석하였다. 또한 이들 재무제표를 확보한 34개 업체를 대상으로 국민체육진흥기금 융자사업의 인식과 만족도를 측정하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하여 설문에 참여한 총 21개 융자수혜업체를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 조사방법은 최종분석 대상인 총 21개 융자수혜업체의 융자 전·후 5년 기간 동안의 대차대조표와 손익계산서를 분석하여 융자수혜업체의 경영성과(수익성, 성장성, 활동성, 안정성)를 파악하고, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 국민체육진흥기금 융자수혜업체는 기금 융자를 통해 경영성과가 나타났다. 세부적으로 성장성 분석에서 매출액증가율은 융자이후 2년간 지속적인 상승이 나타났다. 수익성 분석에서는 매출액순이익률은 융자수혜 1년 이후부터 꾸준한 증가를 보이고 있다. 활동성 분석에서는 총자산회전율과 자기자본회전율이 기금 융자수혜 전보다 전반적으로 증가하고 있다. 또한 융자수혜업체가 융자지원을 통해 경영성과가 나타나게 되면, 융자사업에 대한 만족은 더욱 증가하게 되고 이는 수혜기관인 국민체육진흥공단이 융자수혜업체들의 자원배분효과를 명확히 해주는 대안이 되며, 경영성과 평가의 피드백과정의 향상 및 이해에 대한 시사점을 가진다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to observe the financial status and the business performance of the companies benefiting from financing; conduct a survey; examine overall awareness of the financing business through quantitative verification of the financial ratio analysis and use of financial statements of the companies benefiting from funding by KSPO. To observe the business performance of the companies benefiting from funding by KSPO, companies producing instruments for physical training and companies involved in athletic facilities were selected as the collection group. From 1991, when the financing business was initially established, to 2005, 349 companies excluding those dually selected out of 417 companies were selected as the subjects. As a result of making a contact with all subjects, 97 companies excluding the ones that were non-cooperative, shut down and altered were selected as the final subjects for the analysis. Of the 97 companies benefiting from funding by KSPO, through internal cooperation and officially announced data provided by the Financial Supervisory Commission, balance sheets and income statements of 34 companies were acquired and thus the financial ratio analysis was performed. In addition, for 97 companies with the financial statements in possession, a survey was carried out to measure cognition and satisfaction on the financing business of funding by KSPO. The responses from 60 companies excluding those non-responsive and insincere were used in the analysis. Lastly, a total of 21 companies, with the financial statements in possession, having provided identical responses on the survey were calculated and used in the final analysis to secure representativeness of the sample. As for the method of investigation, the balance sheets and the income statements, the items for the financial statements of the companies benefiting from funding by KSPO, were used for analyzing the tendency, starting from a year prior to the stage of making benefits from financing up to three years after the stage of making benefits from financing on the basis of that year the companies had benefited from financing. Then through the financial ratio, the business performance(profitability, growth, activity and stability) of the companies benefiting from financing was seized and the following conclusion was deducted. The companies benefiting from funding by KSPO indicated their business performance through the funding. In particular, as for the growth analysis, the rate of increase in sales indicated a consistent increase for 2 years after the funding. In the profitability analysis, the ratio of the net profit to the net sales indicated a consistent increase one year after the funding. In the activity analysis, the sales to total assets ration and the turnover of net worth increased in general compared to the time prior to the funding. In addition, as the companies benefiting from funding by KSPO showed their business performance, the satisfaction on the financing business increased. Such increase becomes an alternative which definitizes effects of resource allocation for the companies benefiting from the funding, signifying implications on enhancement and understanding of feedback courses of management and evaluation.
