발달장애유아를 위한 어린이집․유치원 교사들의 긍정적 행동지원 적용 실태: PreSET 질적지표를 중심으로 (Actual Application Conditions of Positive Behavior Support in Preschools for children with Developmental Disabilities : Focused on Preschool-wide Evaluation Tool(PreSET))

초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 PreSET 질적지표를 바탕으로 유아교사의 발달장애유아에 대한 긍정적 행동지원 적용실태를 알아보고 교사변인에 따른 긍정적 행동지원 적용실태의 차이를 알아보고자 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 부산과 경북 지역의 유치원 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 167부의 설문지를 바탕으로 분석하였다. 수집된 결과는 t/f검증과 Duncan사후검증을 이용하여 비교 분석되었다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 연구결과: 유아교사들은‘조직적이고 예측 가능한 환경’에서 가장 높은 적용실태를 보이고 있었으나 대체적으로 긍정적 행동지원 전략들을 보통 수준으로 현장에서 실천하고 있었다. 이러한 적용실태는 소속기관, 학력, 연령, 자격증, 경력, 연수경험 등 유아 교사의 변인별로 조금씩 다르게 나타났다. ‘기대행동정의’에서는 소속기관, 경력에 따라 적용실태가 다르게 나타났으며 ‘기대행동 교수’에서는 학력, 연령, 경력에 따라 다르게 나타났다. ‘적절한 행동과 문제행동에 대한 반응’에서는 소속기관, 학력, 경력에 따라 다르게 나타났으며 ‘조직적이고 예측가능한 환경’에서는 소속기관, 학력, 연령, 경력에서 다르게 나타났다. ‘가족참여’에서는 자격증을 제외한 모든 변인에서의 차이가 없었으며 ‘점검 및 의사결정’에서는 모든 변인 간에 유의미한 차이가 없었다. ‘관리’에서는 소속기관, 학력, 자격증에서 다르게 나타났으며 ‘지원’에서는 소속기관, 연령, 경력에서 다르게 나타났다. 결론: 끝으로 이러한 연구결과를 중심으로 한 논의와 함께 후속 연구에 대한 방향을 제안하였다.

영어초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate actual conditions of preschool teachers applying Positive Behavior Support to children with development disabilities and differences in the actual conditions of applying Positive Behavior Support according to the teacher variables based on PreSET qualitative indicators. Method: For this investigation, the surveys were implemented on preschool teachers from Busan and Gyeongbuk regions, together with the analysis based on 167 surveys. The comparison and analysis was also conducted on the collected results using t/f verification and Duncan post verification. The results were as follows: Results: Preschool teachers practiced Positive Behavior Support strategies at normal levels on site. The highest execution was appeared in the 'organizational and predictable environment'. This execution level showed slight differences by variable. (institution, education, age, licenses, work experience, and training experience). Excluding 'inspection and decision making', all category showed meaningful differences among teacher variables. 'Behavior Expectation' displayed differences in actual conditions of applying Positive Behavior Support according to institution and work experience. 'Expected behaviour instruction' showed differences in actual conditions of applying Positive Behavior Support according to education, age, and work experience. 'Appropriate behavior and problematic response' exhibited differences in actual conditions of applying Positive Behavior Support according to institution, age, and work experience. 'Organizational and predictable environment' showed differences in institution, education, age, and work experience. 'Family participation' displayed no differences in all variable, excluding licenses. 'Management' exhibited difference in actual conditions of applying Positive Behavior Support in institution, education and licenses. 'Support' displayed differences in actual conditions of applying Positive Behavior Support in institution, age, and work experience. Conclusion: Based on the results, the follow-up research and more detailed discussion was presented in this study.
