미술영재 판별을 위한 유아의 창의적 성격, 창의적 능력, K-CPM 지능 비교 : 4, 5세 유아를 중심으로 (The comparison study for creative personality, creative abilities, and K-CPM intelligence according ton Discrimination for gifted kids in art. : focused on 4 and 5 years old kids.)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 미술영재의 선발방법에 관해 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 미술영재유아와 일반유아의 창의적 성격, 창의적 능력, K-CPM지능을 비교분석하는데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 대전소재 3개 지역(동구, 중구, 서구) 13곳의 어린이집을 대상으로 교사추천으로 선발된 미술영재유아 20명, 일반유아 20명을 대상으로 창의적 성격, 창의적 능력, K-CPM지능을 비교, 분석하였다. 분석결과 4세 유아는 창의적 성격에서 평균값의 차이가 미술영재유아(M=57.39), 일반유아(M=58.88)간 차이가 없음이 나타났고, 창의성 능력(언어창의력, 도형창의력), K-CPM지능에 있어서 미술영재유아의 평균값이 높았으나 통계상 유의미한 차이는 없었다.
5세 유아는 창의적 성격에서 평균값이 미술영재유아(M=57.97), 일반유아(M=42.78)로 미술영재유아가 평균값이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 창의적 능력(언어창의력, 도형창의력)에 있어서 미술영재유아의 평균값이 높았으며 언어창의력에서 미술영재유아가 p<.01 수준에서 통계상 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 4~5세 전체를 본다면 창의적 성격, 창의적 능력, K-CPM지능에서 미술영재유아가 평균값이 높게 나왔으며 언어창의력에서 미술영재유아가 p<.05 수준에서 유의함을 보여주었다. 연구결과로부터 4~5세 유아의 미술영재성 판별에 따른 도형창의력에서는 4세 미술영재유아에게서(p<.082), 언어창의성에서는 5세 미술영재유아에게서(p<.01) 차이가 있음이 검증되었으며 K-CPM지능의 차이는 통계상 유의미하지는 않았다.
본 연구는 미술영재로 추천된 유아와 일반유아를 대상으로 하여 창의적 성격, 창의적 능력, K-CPM 지능을 비교해 보았으며 미술영재유아의 효율적 판별이나 잠재적 능력들이 좀 더 다양한 가능성의 모색과 함께 확대되기를 제안한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this research is to examine Discrimination criteria of gifted kids in art. And based on this, to compare and analyze difference creative personality and creative abilities, K-CPM intelligence between the art gifted kids and normal kids. To achieve the purpose, compared and analyzed integrative creativity and recognition ability for kids 20 gifted and 20 normal kids were selected by teachers in 13 preschools in three local are Dae Jeon–city (Dong-gu, Jung-gu and Seo-gu).
The results of this study show that, for the 4 years old kids, there is no difference in average scores of the creative personality between art-gifted kids (M=57.39) and normal kids(M=58.88), and the average scores in creative abilities (Language creativity and shape creativity), K-CPM intelligence for the art-gifted kids are higher than normal kid’s scores, but the gaps are statistically insignificant. For the 5 years old kids, the average scores in creative personality for the art gifted kids(M=57.97) are higher than normal kids(M=42.78) and also higher in creative abilities (Language creativity and shape creativity) and shows the statistically significant difference in Language creativity study for the art gifted kids as the level of P<.01.
Considering the total of 4～5 years old kids, the result shows that the average scores for the art-gifted kids are higher in creative personality, creative and K-CPM intelligence with meaningful difference in Language creative as the level of P<.05. The overall result confirms that there are meaningful differences in shape creativity for 4 years old kids (p<.082) and in language creativity for 5 years old kids (p<.01) according to the decision criteria for 4~5 years old gifted kids in art, and the difference in K-CPM intelligence is statistically insignificant. This study compared creativity personality, creative abilities, and K-CPM intelligences for selected art-gifted and normal kids suggesting the expansion of efficient determination and potential ability for art-gifted kids with a variety of possibilities.
