유ㆍ초 연계의 관점에서 본 2019 개정 누리과정과2015 개정 초등학교 교육과정 총론의 비교ㆍ분석 (An Analysis of Continuity between the National Curriculum Framework Documents for the 2019 Revised Nuri-Curriculum and the 2015 Revised Elementary Curriculum)

초록

본 연구에서는 2019 개정 누리과정과 2015 개정 초등교육과정 문서를 대상으로 두 교육과정 총론의 체계 및 진술의 연계성을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석한 결과, 첫째, 총론의 구성 체계(목차)는 전체 8개 영역 중 4개 영역이 연계된 것으로 나타나 50%의 연계 비율을 보였다. 둘째, 총론의 지침 및 진술은 전체 20개 영역 중 13개 영역이 연계된 것으로 나타나 65%의 연계 비율을 보였다. 이러한 결과에 기반하여 이 연구의 결론 및 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국가교육과정 총론 문서에서 모든 교육단계에 대한 연속성의 맥락에서 인접 학교 급과의 연계 필요성을 중요하게 언급할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 누리과정과 초등교육과정의 총론에서 사용하는 용어의 엄밀성과 일관성을 확보할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 누리과정과 초등교육과정 총론의 문서 체제를 체계화하고 간소화할 필요가 있다. 넷째. 누리과정과 초등교육과정 총론의 지침 및 진술은 자율성과 책무성 사이의 적절한 균형을 도모할 필요가 있다. 다섯째와 여섯째, 누리과정과 초등교육과정의 교수ㆍ학습 관련 지침 및 평가 관점의 연계를 고려할 필요가 있다.

영어초록

The aim of this study is to analyze the continuity between the national curriculum framework documents for the 2019 revised Nuri-curriculum and the 2015 revised elementary curriculum, in terms of how connected they are. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, it was found that the composition system (the table of contents) of the national curriculum framework documents show that four of the eight areas were connected, showing a ratio of 50%. Second, it was found that the guidelines or statements in the national curriculum framework documents show that thirteen of the twenty areas were connected, showing a ratio of 65%. Based on these results, the conclusions and suggestions of this study are as follows: First, it is necessary to make important references of the continuity on their adjacent school levels in national curriculum framework documents from the perspective of continuity in all successive stages of education. Second, it is necessary to ensure the exactitude and consistency on the national curriculum framework documents for the Nuri and the elementary curriculum. Third, it is necessary to systematize and simplify the document systems of the national curriculum frameworks for the Nuri and the elementary curriculum. Fourth, there is a need to promote an appropriate balance between autonomy and accountability on the national curriculum framework documents for the Nuri and the elementary curriculum. Fifth and sixth, it is necessary to consider the continuity between the guidelines or statements for ‘the teaching and learning’ and ‘the views of assessment,’ in the national curriculum framework documents.
