니시자와류에(西沢立衛) 건축의 비물질적 표현 특성 (A Study on the Immateriality at the Ryue Nishizawa’s Works)

초록

니시자와 류에(西沢立衛))의 작품을 대상으로 비물질적 표현 특성을 고찰한 결과, 본 연구의 범위 내에서 다음과 같은 결론에 이르게 되었다. 1. 니시자와의 작품에서 비물질적 표현은 재료적 측면, 형태적 측면, 그리고 공간적 측면에서 나타났다. 재료적 측면에서는 유리의 투명성, 흰채색에 의한 은유성이 나타나고, 형태적 측면에서는 메스의 역동적 형태의 탈중력성이 나타났다. 그리고 공간적 측면에서는 내부공간에서, 내부공간과 외부공간사이에서, 그리고 외부공간사이와 대지 주변의 외부공간사이에서 탈경계적인 특성이 나타났다. 2. 재료적 측면의 특성과 형태적 측면의 특성은 결국 공간적 측면의 특성을 이루는 구성 및 배경요소의 역할을 하고 있다. 3. 이와 같은 비물질 표현은 표현 유형에 따라 3가지 정도로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 첫 번째로 원룸과 같은 타입의 경우, 재료적 측면에서 유리벽의 투명성에 의한 내부공간에서의 탈경계성을 획득하는 표현이 나타난다. 두 번째로 여러 개로 분절되고 희게 채색된 메스와 연결공간이 분리되어 큰 외벽 안에 존재하는 타 입에서는 유리벽의 투명성으로 내외부공간간의 탈경계성이 나타나고, 외벽마저도 삭제되는 유형에서는 분산된 메스 배치로 건물의 중심성을 없앤 탈중력성과 흰색 등의 채색으로 무게감을 탈피하게 한 재료적 측면의 은유성으로 대지내외부 공간간의 탈경계성이 나타나고 있다. 세 번째의 경향으로는, 주변 환경의 분위기 속에 삽입되는 하나의 단일 개체의 형태로 나타난다. 이때에는 형태적 측면에서의 탈중력성이 주로 나타나고 있다. 내부의 기능적인 경계를 담당했던 유리벽이 사라지고 지형에 근거한 곡면의 천장면이나 바닥면이 조성되어 내부공간과 대지와 대지주변 사이에서의 탈경계성이 나타내고 있다. 4. 비물질적 표현특성은 구성부재의 재료적측면에 의한 간접적인 수법의 적용에서 건축물 메스에 대한 형태적 측면의 직접적인 수법으로 변화하는 경향이 나타나고 있다. 5. 그는 위와 같은 비물질적인 표현수법을 통하여 자유롭고 다양한 공간에서 가질 수 있는 관계의 가능성을 제공하고 지형과 주변환경과 조화되는 건축공간을 연출하기 위하여, 랜드스케이프적인 표현으로 노력하여 왔다.

영어초록

As a result of examining the immaterial expression characteristics of Ryue Nishizawa’s work, the following conclusions were reached within the scope of this study.
1. In Nishizawa's work, immaterial expressions appeared in terms of material aspect, morphological aspect, and spatial aspect. In terms of material, the transparency of glass and the metaphor by white color appeared, and in the morphological aspect, the dynamic form of beyond-gravity of the scalpel appeared.
Finally, in terms of space, beyond-boundary characteristics appeared in the interior space, between the interior space and the outer space, and between the outer space and the outer space around the earth. 2.
The characteristics of the material aspect and the characteristics of the morphological aspect eventually play a role of the composition and background elements that form the characteristics of the spatial aspect.
3. Such immaterial expressions can be divided into three types according to the expression type. First, in the case of the same type as the one-room type, expressions that acquire beyond-bounding in the internal space due to the transparency of the glass wall appear in the material aspect. Secondly, the separated scalpel and the connection space are separated into several pieces, and the de-bounding between the inner and outer spaces appears due to the transparency of the glass wall in the other mouths that exist in the large outer wall. The third is in the form of a single individual inserted into the atmosphere of the surrounding environment, where beyond-gravity is mainly seen in the morphological aspect. Consequently, the glass wall-a functional boundary inside-disappears and the curved ceiling or floor surface based on the terrain is formed, and the beyond-borderline is found between interior spaces, between interor and exterior spaces and between exterior spaces(in the site, out of the site). 4. Immaterial expression characteristics tend to change from indirect method by material side of the component to direct method of morphological aspect of the building scalpel. 5. He has been working on landscape expression to provide the possibility of a relationship that can be held in free and diverse spaces through the above immaterial expression method and to create an architectural space in harmony with the terrain and surrounding environment.
