Rasch 모형을 통한 유치원 교사 회복탄력성 척도 개발 (The development of Kindergarten Teacher Resilience Scaleusing the Rasch Model)

초록

본 연구는 Rasch 모형을 적용하여 ‘유치원 교사 회복탄력성 척도(KTRS)’를 개발하고, 개발한 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 먼저, 유치원 교사의 회복탄력성 척도 시안 개발 절차를 거쳐 1차 시안, 2차 시안을 개발하고, 유치원 교사 95명을 대상으로 예비연구를 실시하여 55개 문항의 3차 시안을 완성하였다. 최종문항의 선정을 위해 실시한 본 연구에서는 서울시 공·사립 유치원 교사 437명을 표집하였으며, 이들을 대상으로 3차 시안을 배부하여 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 평정척도 범주 적절성 분석(Rating Scale Model: RSM)과 문항 적합도 분석(infit-outfit MNSQ)을 실시하여 47개 문항의 최종 척도를 확정하였다. 둘째, 개발된 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증한 결과는 다음과 같다. 최종 척도의 문항내적일관성신뢰도(Cronbach’s )는 .94로 나타났으며, 재검사 신뢰도(r)는 .85로 나타나 본 척도가 안정적이고 일관성있는 척도임을 확인하였다. 회복탄력성 관련 연구 경험이 있는 유아교육 전공 교수 및 연구자로 구성된 전문가 검토를 통해 내용타당도가 있음이 검증되었고, ‘심리적 안녕감 척도(PWS)’와 일반인 대상으로 개발된 ‘회복탄력성 지수 검사(RQT)’를 외적 준거로 한 준거타당도에서 상관계수가 각각 .78(p<.01), .54(p<.01)로 나타나 타당한 척도임이 검증되었다.

영어초록

This study describes the process of developing a rating scale to assess resilience in kindergarten teachers using the Rasch model and then of verifying its validity and reliability. First, the procedure for developing a Kindergarten Teacher Resilience Scale began with an extensive literature review, four focus group interviews (consisting of kindergarten teachers with various educational backgrounds, teaching experiences, and resilience levels), and specialist conferences, and culminated in developing the first draft (106 items) and the second draft (76 items) of the scale. The scale consisted of two main factors and seven sub-factors: internal factor (psychological, behavioral, cognitive, and social factors) and external protective factor (personal environmental, relational environmental, and organizational environmental factors). Next, the third draft of the scale was completed through a pilot study of 95 kindergarten teachers. Then, using the data collection of 437 kindergarten teachers for the third draft of the scale and based on the item analysis results using Andrich’s Rating Scale Model and infit-outfit MNSQ, the final 47 items were settled to assess resilience in kindergarten teachers. Second, the developed Kindergarten Teacher Resilience Scale was tested to verify its reliability (internal consistency and test-retest) and validity (content and criterion-related). In terms of reliability, internal consistency of the scale was revealed to be acceptably high (Cronbach’s alpha=.94), and a significant association (r=.85) between test and retest scores was found. In terms of validity, four specialists (professors and researchers) reviewed the scale and confirmed its content validity, and criterion-related validity was established based on the positive correlations with the Psychological Well-Being Scale (r=.78, p<.01) and the Resilience Quotient Test (r=.54, p<.01). Through these validation measures, the Kindergarten Teacher Resilience Scale (KTRS) was proven to be a valid and reliable measure to assess resilience in kindergarten teachers working with young children.
