분화용 나리의 식재 시기에 따른 생장 및 개화 특성 (Characteristics of Growth and Flowering of Pot Lily depending on the Planting Dat)

초록

본 연구는 Lilium Asiatic Hybrids ‘Mount Dragon’,‘Angelique’, ‘Fortune’, ‘Genovië’ 등 분화용 나리 4품종을 공시 재료로 2013년 3월 3일부터 5월 2일까지 15일간격으로 식재시기를 5단계로 하여 재배 한 후 생육특성을 조사하여 농가에서 분화용 나리의 출하 계획 및 화단의 식재 계획에 활용하고자 수행하였다. ‘Mount Dragon’은 정식후 식재 시기에 따라 개화까지 59일 ~ 95일이 소요 되어 조생종 이었으며 다른 실험 품종에 비하여 엽수가 85개 ~ 101.6개로 많아 관상가치가 높았다. 또한 식재 시기 간에 초장 및 개화 수 등의 차이는 많지 않았으나 4월2일 식재시 엽수 및 개화수 가 많았으며 개화소요일수가 짧고 개화기간이 13.6일로 가장 길어 상품성이 좋았다. ‘Angelique’는 3월 ~ 5월 식재 시 초장은30 ~ 40cm 였으며 특히 3월 18일에 식재 한 경우 개화수가 6.7개로 4~5월 식재의 경우보다 많아 분화로서 품질이 우수하였다. ‘Fortune’은 5월 2일 식재 시 개화 소요일수가 83.5일로 가장 짧았으며 꽃의 크기는 식재시기간에 차이가 없었으나 개화수는 4월 2일에 식재 하였을경우 5.4개로 가장 많았다. 3월 식재의 경우 개화기간은6.5일로 길었으나 초장이 61.0cm 이상 이어서 분화로서상품성이 양호하지 못했다. ‘Genovië’은 정식 후 개화까지 식재 시기 별로 88 ~ 130일 만에 개화하여 본 실험에 사용된 다른 품종에 비하여 만생종 이었다. 특히4월 17일 식재의 경우 개화수가 6.2개로 가장 많았고 꽃의 크기는 15.8cm로 가장 컸으며 개화기간이 10.0일로가장 길어 분화용으로 양호하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of the present study was to examinegrowth and flowering characteristics of four Lilium Asiatichybrids cultivars viz. ‘Mount Dragon’, ‘Angelique’, ‘Fortune’,and ‘Genovië’ for pot breeding. For this purpose, the liliesselected as testing material were planted from March 3 toMay 2 divided by 5 different periods of planting in order toexplore growth characteristics and to offer the data derivedtherefrom for farmers to use in flowering in pots and plantingon flower beds. From the results, it was found that ‘MountDragon’ required 59 ~ 95 days from planting to flowering, thatis, a precocious species with higher ornamental values and85 ~ 101.6 leaves which were relatively more than otherspecies used for experimentation. Besides, although there waslittle difference in the plant height and number of flowersdepending on the planting dates, those planted on April 2turned out to have yielded the maximum number of leavesand flowers in shorter period of breeding but the longestperiod of flowering with 13.6 days, a favorable factor asmarketable species. In case of ‘Angelique’, the plantheight was 30 ~ 40 cm when planted from March to Mayand, especially, the species planted on March 18 yielded6.7 flowers, more than those planted in April and May,proving to have outstanding quality as pot flower. ‘Fortune’,planted on May 2, required 83.5 days to flower, theshortest period, but showed no difference in the size offlower depending on the planting date. But, there wasdifference in number of flowers, for instance the plantplanted on April 2 produced maximum number of flowers (5.4). In contrast, the species planted in March had thelongest period of flowering with 6.5 days but had lessmarket value due to its tall height (~ 61 cm). Finally,‘Genovië’ came into bloom as many as 88 ~ 130 days afterplanting date, indicating to be a relatively late-maturingvariety compared to other species used for the presentexperimentation. The species planted on April 17, yieldedmaximum number of flower (6.2) having 1.8 cm size, and10.0 days of flowering, proved it best fit as pot floweringplant.
