지적장애 학생을 위한 국내외 수학 중재연구 메타분석 단일대상연구를 중심으로 (Meta-Analysis of Mathematics Interventions for Students with Intellectual Disabilities, With focus on single subject researches)

초록

연구목적: 본 연구에서는 단일대상연구를 중심으로 지적장애 학생을 위한 국내외 수학 중재연구의 효과 크기를 분석하고자 한다. 연구방법: 지적장애 학생을 대상으로 수학 중재를 실시한 연구를 검색하였으며, 국내 연구의 경우 2003년부터 2021년까지, 국외 연구의 경우 2006년부터 2021년까지를 검색 기준으로 하여 총 64편을 분석 대상으로 정하였다. 연구 참여자(학년, 수), 연구 환경(중재 회기․시간․장소, 중재자, 실험설계), 독립변인(교수 방법), 종속변인(평가 내용)을 기준으로 중재연구를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 참여자 학년의 경우 국내 연구는 초등학생 이하, 국외 연구는 중학생 대상이 많았다. 참여자 수의 경우 국내외 모두 3명을 대상으로 한 연구가 많았다. 둘째, 연구 환경에서 국내 연구는 10~15회, 40분 이상, 학교(교실), 연구자가 실시한 연구가 많았으며 국외 연구는 10회 미만, 30분 미만, 학교(교실), 교사가 실시한 연구가 많았다. 셋째, 독립변인의 경우 국내 연구는 게임/놀이, 자기교수, 시각적 지원 순으로 나타났고 국외 연구는 시각적 지원, 구체물 활용, 행동주의 전략 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 종속변인의 경우 국내외 연구 모두 연산 영역에서 가장 많이 실시되었다. 다섯째, 전체 효과 크기는 국내 0.9530, 국외 0.9498로 높게 나타났다. 여섯째, 효과 크기에 영향을 미치는 변인의 경우 국내 연구는 참여자 수, 중재 회기, 중재자, 교수 방법, 국외 연구는 학년, 중재 회기, 중재 시간, 교수 방법, 평가 내용으로 나타났다. 결론: 지적장애 학생을 대상으로 이루어진 국내외 수학 중재연구의 효과 크기는 높게 나타났으며, 결과에 따른 논의점 및 제언을 제시하였다.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the effect of domestic and foreign mathematics intervention studies on students with intellectual disabilities, focusing on single-subject research. Method: A total of 64 studies were selected for analysis based on the search criteria for students with intellectual disabilities, from 2003 to 2021 for domestic studies, and from 2006 to 2021 for foreign studies. Intervention studies were analyzed based on research subjects(grade), research environment(number of participants, intervention session, time, place, mediator, and experimental design), independent variables(teaching methods), and dependent variables (evaluation contents). Results: First, domestic studies were conducted for below elementary school students, and foreign studies were mostly conducted in secondary school students. In the case of the number of participants, there were many studies targeting three of all domestic and foreign studies. Second, in the research environment, domestic studies were conducted 10 to 15 times, for more than 40 minutes, in a school(classroom), with researchers, and foreign studies were conducted less than 10 times, for less than 30 minutes, in a school(classroom), with teachers. Third, the independent variables in domestic studies were shown in the order of game/play, self-instruction and visual support, whereas in foreign studies were shown in the order of visual support, manipulatives, and explicit instruction. Fourth, in the case of the dependent variables, both domestic and foreign studies were conducted the most in the field of computation. Fifth, the overall effect size was high at 0.9530 in Korea and 0.9498 abroad. Sixth, in the case of variables affecting the effect size, domestic studies showed that the number of participants, sessions, mediators, teaching methods, and overseas studies showed grade, sessions, hours, teaching methods, and evaluation content. Conclusion: The effect size of domestic and foreign mathematical intervention studies for students with intellectual disabilities was high, and discussions and suggestions based on the results were presented.
