초록

The market is growing rapidly by needs of customer who has dysphasia in aging. Dysphasia occurs that food enter an airway, aspiration pneumonia and the lower of quality of an elderly life. The purpose of present study was to compile information on current aspects of industry trend and food development status for the elderly. The provision of adequate food reflecting the needs of the elderly with health risk factors can minimize the problems caused by the aged societies. In addition, it can be expected to promote the prevention and health promotion of the elderly. In the future, it will be necessary not only to develop long term care foods with high value added product, but also to develop marketing strategies for the commercialization of HMR foods by the analysis of dietary style and lifestyle among the elderly. Therefore, this study examined the necessity of the elderly food development and the classification, scope and development status of elderly people 's food in foreign countries where aging was first started than Korea.
