교차사례분석을 통한 대학 온라인 수업설계 및 실행 실태분석 (University online class design and execution status analysis through cross-case analysis)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학의 다양한 온라인 수업 사례분석을 통해 온라인 수업설계 및 실행 실태를 파악하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 교차사례분석을 실시하였고, 분석결과를 바탕으로 더욱 효과적인 온라인 수업 설계 및 실행을 위한 설계지침, 고려 및 유의 사항 등이 포함된 실천적 설계방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 온라인 수업설계 및 실행 적합성의 중, 하 수준 비율이 상 수준 비율에 비해 두 배 이상 높은 것을 통해 대면 수업을 온라인 수업으로 전환하여 설계, 실행하는 과정에서 교수자에게 다양한 어려움이 있고, 이를 해결하기 위한 체계적인 지원체계가 필요하였다. 둘째, 온라인 수업설계 및 실행에서 수업평가 영역의 적합성이 가장 낮은데, 수업목표 및 내용에 대한 목표 달성 여부를 일관성 있게 평가하기 위해 적합한 평가 방법 및 도구의 선정과 함께 실행이 바르게 이루어질 필요가 있다. 셋째, 온라인 수업설계 및 실행의 학습환경 영역에서 온라인 수업유형별 설계의 중, 하 수준 비율이 상대적으로 높은 것을 통해 온라인 수업유형에 따른 적절한 학습환경 조성이 부족하고, 특정 수업유형(강의형, AOD형)에 편중된 설계를 보여주고 있다. 이에 수업목표 및 내용에 따라 세부적인 온라인 수업뮤형을 다양하게 설계하고, 동시적·비동시적 상호작용 환경을 만들어 주어야 한다. 넷째, 수업방법 영역에서 동기유발 및 유지 전략의 중 수준 비율이 다른 세부영역에 비해 높은 편이었는데, 자기조절능력이 낮은 학습자를 위해 더욱 치밀한 동기유발 전략 계획 및 실행이 필요하였다. 다섯째, 온라인 수업유형에서 공통되는 수업전략인 설명전략과 발문전략에 대한 중, 하 수준 비율이 다른 세부영역 비율에 비해 높았는데, 온라인 학습환경에서 학습내용의 이해 및 전달 효과를 높이기 위해서는 설명전략 중간에 발문전략을 적절하게 계획하여 제시하고 학습자와의 상호작용, 의사소통의 효과를 높여 주어야 한다. 이러한 연구결과는 온라인 학습환경을 조성해 주기 위해서 온라인 수업모형, 수업매체 및 자료, 평가방법 및 도구 등 설계하여 활용하는 데 유의해야 할 사항을 교수자에게 제공하여 온라인 수업설계 및 실행 시 발생할 가능성이 있는 어려움을 줄여 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the online class design and implementation status of universities by using the online class analysis tool to analyze the online education status. To this end, a cross-case analysis was conducted, and based on the analysis results, a practical design plan including design guidelines, considerations, and precautions for designing and executing more effective online classes was proposed. The result of this study is that, first, the ratio of middle and low level of online class design and execution suitability is more than twice that of upper level, so that there are various difficulties for instructors in the process of designing and executing face-to-face classes into online classes. And it was found. Second, the suitability of the class evaluation area in online class design and execution is the lowest, because the evaluation method and tool are not properly selected and implemented to consistently evaluate whether the goal of the class goal and content has been achieved. Third, in the learning environment area of ​​online class design and execution, there is a lack of proper learning environment according to online class type due to the high ratio of middle and low level design by online class type, and it is not suitable for specific class types(lecture type, AOD type). It shows a biased design. Fourth, in the teaching method area, the ratio of the intermediate level of motivational and maintenance strategies was higher than that of other sub-areas, and it was necessary to plan and execute more detailed motivational strategies for learners with low self-regulation ability. Fifth, the ratio of middle and low level for explanation strategy and question strategy, which are common lesson strategies in online class types, was higher than the ratio for other sub-areas. It is necessary to properly plan and present a questioning strategy to students, and to enhance the effectiveness of interaction and communication with learners. It will be possible to reduce the difficulties that may arise when designing and executing online classes by providing instructors with information to be aware of when designing and using materials, evaluation methods, and tools.
