아동양육시설에서 발달장애영유아와 비장애영유아의 통합보육을 수행한 보육사의 경험 (Experience of childcare workers who conducted integrated childcare for infants with developmental disabilities and non-disabled infants in child care facilities)

초록

본 연구는 아동양육시설 보육사가 인식하는 발달장애영유아와 비장애영유아 통합보육의 어려움과 장애아동 양육의 현실 문제를 파악하여 아동양육시설 통합보육 개선 방안 및 지원체계를 마련하고자 진행되었다. 이러한 목적 달성을 위하여, 본 연구에서는 질적 사례연구방법을 통해 아동양육시설에서 발달장애영유아와 비장애영유아를 통합보육한 경험이 있는 7명의 보육사를 연구참여자로 하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과, 18개의 개념, 6개의 하위범주, 3개의 범주를 도출하였다. 3개의 범주는 ‘발달장애영유아와 비장애영유아 통합보육의 어려움’, ‘통합보육에 대한 보육사의 상반된 관점과 인식’, ‘아동양육시설 통합보육의 한계와 장애아동의 전원 문제’로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 아동양육시설 통합보육 개선 및 장애아동의 전원 문제 해결을 모색하였으며 이를 위해 통합보육 정보 안내 및 통합보육지원 매뉴얼 제작, 통합보육 전문인력 양성 시스템 및 발달장애영유아 맞춤형 통합보육 시스템 제도화, 장애아동 맞춤형 전원 시스템 구축, 그룹홈 및 재활지원기관 설치, 지역주민 장애인식개선을 위한 교육 시스템 제도화 마련이 필요함을 제언하고자 한다.

영어초록

This study was conducted to establish a plan and support system for integrated childcare in childcare facilities by identifying the difficulties of integrated childcare in childcare facilities and the practical problems of raising children with disabilities, with childcare workers in integrated childcare for infants with developmental disabilities and non-disabled infants as participants in the study. To achieve this goal, this study collected and analyzed data by conducting in-depth interviews with 7 childcare workers who conducted integrated childcare for infants with developmental disabilities and infants without disabilities through qualitative case studies. As a result of the study, 18 concepts, 6 subcategories, and 3 categories were derived. The three categories were 'difficulty in integrated childcare for infants and non-disabled infants with developmental disabilities', 'contradictory perspectives and perceptions of childcare workers on integrated childcare', and 'limitations of integrated childcare for childcare facilities and problems of relocation to other facilities for children with disabilities'. Based on this, suggestions for improving integrated childcare in childcare facilities and solving problems related to difficulties in relocating children with disabilities to other facilities are as follows. It is necessary to create integrated childcare information and integrated childcare support manuals, prepare an integrated childcare specialized education system and customized integrated childcare system for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities, establish a facility movement system tailored to children with disabilities, establish a group home and rehabilitation support institution, and prepare an education system to improve local residents' disability awareness.
