초록

In the 1960s, Jacobs J. raised the issue that radial urban planning causes crime, leading to the emergence of crime prevention environmental design. After that, in 1972, Newman O. announced the defense space theory through environmental design, which marked the beginning of modern crime prevention environment design. A concept that has since emerged is Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). As a result of the 2018-2021 public offering project beneficiary satisfaction survey in Chungcheongnam-do, it was found that CPTED publicity and satisfaction were inadequate. Satisfaction was mostly positive, but there were still negative answers. In addition, it became clear that the CPTED project in Chungcheongnam-do could not be recognized, and it was understood that publicity was insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to first confirm the existence of differences in CPTED ratings by sociodemographic characteristics. The second is to present the development plan for insufficient CPTED elements. The method of research is to first grasp the measurement variables of previous studies and derive the most frequent variables. Second, we conduct quantitative research through derived variables. Conduct frequency analysis to capture sociodemographic characteristics and technostatistical analysis to capture preference ratings. In addition, a t-test and analysis of variance are performed to grasp the evaluation difference between groups. A t-test confirmed the presence of gender differences in the NS, TR, AC, AS, Mm, and FoC items. In addition, analysis of variance confirmed the existence of evaluation differences between age groups in the NS items.
