대학생의 역기능적 진로사고 잠재프로파일에 따른 진로준비행동, 우울, 문제해결력의 차이 (Differences in Career Preparation Behavior, Depression and Problem Solving Ability according to the Latent Profiles of College Students’ Dysfunctional Career Thinking)

초록

본 연구는 대학생의 역기능적 진로사고 잠재프로파일을 분류하고, 분류된 잠재프로파일에 따른 진로준비행동, 우울, 문제해결력의 차이를 탐색하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 D광역시의 K대학교에 재학중인 남학생 63명, 여학생 121명 총 184명이었다. 자료 분석을 위해 잠재프로파일 분석과 결과변수 차이분석(BCH)을 실시하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 대학생의 역기능적 진로사고 잠재프로파일은 진로 의사결정 혼란형(7.2%), 진로 의사결정 불안형(26.8%), 진로 의사결정 안정형(66%)의 3개 유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 대학생의 역기능적 진로사고 잠재프로파일에 따라 진로준비행동, 우울, 문제해결력의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로준비행동의 경우, 진로 의사결정 안정형이 진로 의사결정 혼란형에 비해 유의하게 높은 수준을 보였다. 진로 의사결정 불안형의 진로준비행동 수준은 진로 의사결정 혼란형과 진로 의사결정 안정형 간의 유의한 차이가 없었다. 우울 변인의 경우에는 진로 의사결정 혼란형, 진로 의사결정 불안형, 진로 의사결정 안정형 순으로 높게 나타났다. 문제해결력에서는 진로 의사결정 안정형이 진로 의사결정 불안형에 비해 유의하게 높았으나 진로 의사결정 혼란형은 진로 의사결정 불안형, 진로 의사결정 안정형과는 차이가 없었다. 이러한 결과는 대학생의 역기능적 진로사고가 하위요인에 따라 다양한 양상을 보이며, 이에 따라 진로준비와 적응에서 차이를 보일 수 있음을 시사한다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 역기능적 진로사고를 감소를 위한 개입방안과 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

This study was conducted to classify the latent profiles of dysfunctional career thinking of college students, and to explore the differences in career preparation behavior, depression, and problem solving ability according to the classified latent profiles. The subjects of the study were 184 students, 63 male and 121 female students enrolled at K University in D Metropolitan City. Data were analyzed through latent profile analysis and BCH. Results were as follows. First, the latent profiles of college students’ dysfunctional career thinking were classified into three types: career decision confusion type (7.2%), career decision anxiety type (26.8%), and career decision stabilization type (66%). Second, there were significant differences in career preparation behavior, depression, and problem solving ability according to the latent profiles of college students’ dysfunctional career thinking. In temrs of career preparation behavior, the career decision-making stabilization type showed a significantly higher level than the career decision-making confusion type, but the level of career preparation behavior of the career choice conflict type was not significantly different from that of the career decision confusion type and the career decision stabilization type. Regarding depression, career decision confusion type, career choice conflict type, and career decision stabilization type were high in order, and all were found to be significant. In terms of problem-solving ability, the career decision stabilization type was significantly higher than that of the career choice conflict type. However, the career decision confusion type was not significantly different from the career choice conflict type and the career decision stabilization type. These results suggest that college students’ dysfunctional career thinking patterns are various depending on the sub-factors, and individual differences should be considered when intervening. Limitations of this study and suggestions for further research were discussed along with intervention strategies to reduce dysfunctional career thinking of college students.
