Under COVID-19 Research on the Impact of Supermarket Participation in “Farming-Supermarket Docking”Supply Chain

초록

Purpose The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 is a challenge to the supply chain stability of fresh agricultural products in supermarkets. When dealing with major public emergencies, the supply chain is unstable or even broken. Insufficient upstream supplier's production and operation ability causes the supply not to be timely. The supermarket's own scheduling, inventory capacity and so on are not enough to meet the needs of downstream consumers, which leads to the reduction of customer satisfaction and the loss of many loyal customers. Therefore, to improve supply capacity of upstream suppliers, accelerating stock turnover and meet the needs of downstream consumers have become a pressing problem for supermarket.
Design/methodology–Taking the supermarket as the research object and combining with the actual situation of "Farmer-Supermarket Docking" under COVID-19,this paper summarizes the main influencing factors of the willingness of supermarkets to participate in the "Farmer-Supermarket Docking"supply chain. Through questionnaire survey to obtain data, put forward hypotheses and establish models.
Findings Study found that the Influencing factors of supermarket's participation in "Farmer-Supermarket Docking" supply chain are docking advantage, docking relationship, docking ability, docking environment, supermarket expectation and perceived quality. Docking advantage, docking relationship, docking ability and docking environment through the supermarket expectation lead to a significant and positive effect on supermarket’s participation. Docking advantage and docking ability through the perceived quality have significant and positive influence on supermarket’s participation.
Originality/value To help supermarkets in the face of major public emergencies, it can enhance the docking advantage, consolidate the docking relationship, strengthen the docking ability, optimize the docking environment, improve the perceived quality and meet supermarket expectations, which is conducive to further enhancing the willingness of the supermarket to participate and stabilize the supply chain in "Farmer-Supermarket Docking".
