DEA-SBM을 이용한 지식산업센터 입주희망기업의 경영효율성 분석 - 전라북도 전주시 소재 기타기계 및 장비 제조업을 중심으로 - (The analysis of management efficiency of businesses hoping to move into the Knowledge Industry Center, using DEA-SBM - focused on the equipment manufacturing and machines industry in Jeonju, Jeollabuk)

초록

The Knowledge Industry Centers have recently been built as an urban industrial site. Demanding of the Center has been increased from the small manufacturing with large demanding to the cutting-edge businesses caused by the industrial structure development. Because moved companies to the Knowledge Industry Center can get benefits : less paying of rental fee, business plan for good prices, better location, and convenient employment. This study analyzed business management efficiency of moving-list for the Knowledge Industry Center focused on manufacturing equipments and machines industry in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, using DEA-SBM which is Data Envelopment Efficiency Analysis-Slack Based Measurement. Considering slack, we also analyzed causes of inefficiency. The number of employees, rental fee, and area were set for input, and sales were set for output. Management efficiency of businesses, hoping to move into the Knowledge Industry Center, recorded CRS 31.2%, VRS 61.0%, and the key factor to cause the inefficiency turned out to the rental fee. These results showed below. First, companies want to get into the Knowledge Industry Center have to consider rental fee as well as tax and rent reduction from not only the government but local government entities. When the company moves into the Knowledge Industry Center also should consider of the availability of full employment, distance from office and residence for contribution to the improvement of management efficiency.
