건설업 양극화 현상에 따른 생존 경영전략 수립의 적정 방향에 관한 연구 (The Applicability of the Management Strategy Establishment for the Survival of the Economically Polarized Construction Industry)

초록

A systematic study should be done to understand how the current economic polarization manifests itself in the construction industry and to establish remedial action items to counter the negative effect of the polarization. The objective of this study is to lessen the impact of the economic polarization and suggest feasible management strategies for differing company levels, with the ultimate purpose of enhancing the survivability of the small & medium construction companies.The study will be done in two tracks. In the first track this paper identifies the effects of the economic polarization in the companies' financial aspect. In the second track it diagnoses the government policies to determine whether any of those might have caused or aggravated the economic polarization. There are four puporses ; First, it also analyze the background that have caused the polarization, and will suggests remedial long-term and short-term strategies. Second, it will seek improvement in managerial systems involving subcontracting practices as a way to solve the polarization problem. Third, it establish a systematic assistance plan for a company lacking enough capital and capability to merge together to form a bigger entity. Finally, it suggests ways to assure a short-term profitability and a mid- to long-term management strategies for the survival, pursue a collective subcontracting methodology as a means of solving the polarization problem, promoting the continuous growth. It remind the industry that only the ones adapted to the changing environment could survive.
