초록

This study aims to clarify the landscape changes in Hahoe Village due to floods and public works for flood control. The study was carried out in the following order, a literature review on the record floods in the Hahoe Village, an investigation of public works for flood control in the Nakdong River surrounding Hahoe Village in modern times, an investigation of the changes in landscape factors due to floods and modern public works, and an investigation of landscape view changes. According to previous studies, flood hazards have always existed in Hahoe Village due to the nature of its location. In fact, there have been several great floods in the village, causing great damages. These floods had an influence on where the river flowed in the Nakdong River, which in turn led to changes in the landscape of the village. Modern public works for flood control instigated Hahoe Village to get out of flood hazard but it became one of the factors that caused new landscape changes. In more detail, the Nakdong River view from the inside of the village disappeared. The village saw an increase in rice paddies when it had more agricultural waters available following a levee construction.
