ChatGPT를 활용한 예비초등교사의 초등의생활 수업지도안 개발 연구 (To Develop Clothing Life Lesson Plans by Prospective Elementary School Teacher Using the ChatGPT)

초록

본 연구는 예비초등교사들을 대상으로 ChatGPT를 활용하여 2022 개정 실과교육과정에 기초한 초등의생활 수업지도안 작성 과정에서의 만족도와 장단점, 향후 초등 의생활교육에서 ChatGPT 활용 가능성을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 G교육대학교 3학년 19명으로 ChatGPT로 수업지도안을 작성하였으며, 분석자료는 수업지도안과 결과보고서를 비교분석법으로 분석하였다.
연구 결과는 첫째, 예비초등교사들은 수업지도안을 작성하는 전에 ChatGPT를 통해 학생들의 선 지식수준, 수업지도안의 체계, 수업에 필요한 심화 내용, 학생들의 예상 질문, 동기유발 자료를 구성할 수 있는 도구로서 ChatGPT의 유용성을 인식하였다. 둘째, 수업지도안 작성과정에서는 프롬프트에 따라 수업지도안의 기본틀이 나타났고, 각 단계별에 따라 구체적인 질문과 답변을 통해 수업지도안을 재구성하여 완성할 수 있어, 예비초등교사들은 ChatGPT 텍스트처리 능력을 높이 평가하였다. 셋째, 예비초등교사들은 ChatGPT 활용에서 편이성과 유용성, 시간의 절약에 만족하였고, 참신성 부족과 정보의 신뢰성 문제로 인해 추가적인 자료 검색에 불만족하였다. 넷째, ChatGPT의 장점은 무한한 정보 수집, 다양한 아이디어 제공, 맞춤형 수업 설계 가능, 즉각적인 피드백 등을 통한 질 좋은 수업의 구성이었고, ChatGPT의 단점은 창의성과 정보의 신뢰성 부족, 교육 현장의 현실성 부족이 있으며, ChatGPT에 의존할 경우 교사의 비판적 사고가 저해될 수 있다는 점, 문화적 감수성의 부족과 개인정보보호 및 저작권보호면에서 부정적이었다. 다섯째, 미래 초등의생활교육에서 ChatGPT를 활용한 수업은 개인별 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 수업 설계와 가상현실을 활용한 간접 체험 교육에 유용할 것으로 기대되나, 지나친 의존은 교사와 학생 간 상호작용 감소 및 자립성 약화를 우려하였다.
본 연구를 바탕으로 제언을 하면 첫째, ChatGPT 사용법 및 프롬프트 작성 기술에 대한 구체적인 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 둘째, ChatGPT 사용 시 학생들의 윤리적 문제 및 개인정보 보호에 대한 고려가 이루어져야 하며, 셋째, 다양한 교과의 교육과정에서 ChatGPT를 활용하는 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영어초록

This study examined the feedback on using the ChatGPT to develop elementary clothing life lesson plans based on the 2022 revised Practical Arts curriculum. It also explored the future potential of ChatGPT in this educational context. The study involved 19 third-year students from G University of Education who used ChatGPT to create lesson plans. The data were analyzed using a comparative analysis of lesson plans and result reports.
The study’s findings are as follows: First, pre-service elementary school teachers found ChatGPT useful for understanding students' prior knowledge, organizing lesson plan structure, incorporating in-depth content, anticipating student questions, and providing motivational materials before drafting lesson plans. Second, ChatGPT effectively outlined lesson plan frameworks based on teacher queries during lesson plan creation. Teachers could refine and complete the lesson plans by iteratively refining specific questions and answers, highlighting the effectiveness of ChatGPT's text processing capabilities. Third, the overall satisfaction with ChatGPT among pre-service teachers was high, particularly due to its convenience, usefulness, and time-saving aspects. However, concerns regarding originality and information reliability necessitating additional research were noted. Fourth, ChatGPT’s strengths included its ability to collect vast amounts of information, generate diverse ideas, save time, design customized lessons, and provide immediate feedback, contributing to high-quality lessons. However, its drawbacks included a lack of creativity and reliability in information, as well as the disconnect with the realities of the educational environment. Moreover, an overreliance on ChatGPT could hinder teachers' critical thinking, while issues such as cultural sensitivity, privacy protection, and copyright infringement were additional concerns. Fifth, in future elementary clothing life education, ChatGPT could be useful for designing customized lessons that reflect individual characteristics and providing indirect experiential learning through virtual reality. However, excessive dependence might reduce teacher-student interaction and weaken students' independence, which should be carefully considered.
Based on these findings, the study’s recommendations include developing concrete educational programs on ChatGPT usage and prompt writing, strengthening students' self-directed learning abilities, and enhancing ethical issues and privacy considerations. Further research is needed on how to effectively integrate ChatGPT into the curriculum across various subjects.
